The two bosses here in question are the crystal giant, and the spider king. First, the spider king, when this beast was first put into nightmist, it required a large number of healers/mages to defeat it, and often 3-4 trips for crystals had to be made. Now it can be killed by a single person with a few clerics in about an hour. Reason being that with the new updates and mana cost reduced, healers dont use near as much mana as before. Their really is no challenge to defeating the Spider King if you have the characters, which almost everyone does. I propose that the Spider Kings Hp be raised to take it back to the challenging task that it once was, and maybe this will help bring back the value of the spider gauntlets.

As for the crystal giant, the same applies. There is no challenge. Any person with a Cleric and some rangers or crits that can use a spider staff can kill it if they got the time. Healers use so little mana, and the bosses hit for so little amount, they dont have to worry bout running out. For the Crystal Giant i think that it needs to start hitting harder, and the hp raised on this monster as well. Again back in the day it took hours to kill, as there werent that many people with slews of high lvl rangers. With the amount that do attack the crystal giant at once, the once hard to get crystal ring is no challenge either. Perhaps with these changes the crystal ring will regain some of its value as well.

As the general was updated to accomodate the changes of nightmist, the rest of them need to be considered as well.

maybe the bosses need to start healing too like captain wylsen. he sometimes didn't heal and got killed within 10 mins now he hea;s and it takes around 40 mins (still an easy boss but i guess that's why he hardly drops)

that's another option just don't change em but let them drop less :D

if the drop rates are lowered, then the exp given needs to be raised...if the boss doesnt drop, or even if it does and you dont get it, at least youre getting something for all your efforts put forth, and cost of magic.

I don't see why the exp would have to be raised, just spits a little burst of color into killing bosses.

If the SK drop rate is lowered, the prices for SG's wont go up for a bit, considering the immense amount of SG's already in the game already.

don't worry lol they will go up after a while with all the new crits (i've got loads of crits just below lvl 27 or 27+ that need sgs :D
