Most of us know how difficult the jungle can be to fight your way through. Poison can do up to 225 at a time from anacondas/tree frogs. Tigers/gorrillas hit hard, Babboons hit multiple crits, traps are everywhere, and none of the monsters drop very much gold for the effort it takes to kill them; on top of all that the exp sucks. I ask that the exp be raised on these monsters so that there is some advantage for killing them, or the gold dropped be raised. In turn, I think alot more players would risk exploring and training in a area that is under used.

LOL - that area needs a LOT of work.  Descriptons have obvious errors in the grammar, and you are correct that the exp & gold are not reasonable in consideration of the difficulty, cost, and general challenge of the area.

Tell you what else needs changing in Chronos? All the squares that you altered recently with cyric without informing the boards. You idiotically made all of the squares that require an orb of time eat it up after 1 use, even though you need to use it around 7 times (costing players 250k+ to explore!?).
Dont change things unless you actually know what they do...........but I'd have thought youd have known about that being the supreme staffer you thought you were. And no notification to the boards? Tut tut.

Hold on there - The ONLY thing I changed in the Island of Chronos was to make squares near the boss 'no logon' (as players were simply logging off one or two squares from the Time Knight and logging on daily and killiing it without going through the area).

I don't enjoy editing other peoples areas (as it is 'their' work, not mine) and I would never make meaningful changes without thoroughly understanding the entire area (that's why it takes so long).  The last thing I want to do (when I was Cyric) is to ruin an area someone else built.

Sorry it got adjusted inappropriately, but unless you do mean the 'no logon', it wasn't me.

7 Orb of Time's = 350k.

And i personally never had this problem while 'Cyric' was a staffer.

Sorry if i've accused you of something you didn't do (I know whats it like to be wrongfully accused and it's not nice) but I was given this information by 2 staff members (who shall remain nameless) stating that on the grid stats you were the one that had altered the squares.
If it wasn't you then I think the staff member that did change them should come forward explaining why such an inappropriate change was made.

i dont see many orb of times going for less then 40k, on the basis you pay 50k to buy them.

Well if you knew what you were talking about (I bet you havn't even been to chronos) then youd realise that the shop price for an orb of time is 50k.

I have been to Chronos, I have been to the Jungle, I have taken the mass ammounts of poison damage, with the low ammount of gold and blah blah blah. Now I was pointing out the fact that your math (7 orbs = 250k+) is highly off, unless your getting very lucky and buying them from some fools who cant add like you. The fact that I put that they cost 50k, show's I know how much they cost.




Also I would like to point out the fact that if you go north of the two gaurds, you get teleported right to the hut, by passing the need to go through Cronos

Whether he made the area or not, he stumbled, he obviously rushed past Tenderfoots post without paying full attention to what the post said. Tenderfoot indeed said they were 50k.

I've revised the monsters and xp of this area with both Stigmata and JLH's permission. I'll be doing some adjustments to the exp and the gold they give.

i think it should give the most exp in the game because of how hard it is there maybe 7k+ a hit *shrug*

XP isn't based per hit, its per point of damage. Its kind of hard to base xp values per hit.

Well dont make it too good, cause if your exploring the area and get lost, or your about to die, then you can just log off...

I think most of the reason they would make the area low exp/gold is because the point to to go kill the bosses and get most excellent drops (once every 3 or so months i suppose though)...i dont really know much about the area..never tried visiting....so lets not flame my opinion...just leave it at an "you are incorrect" if need be.
