For some reason nightmist gets a bit more boring without music. I liked the old nightmist where there was music in pubs and in clan pubs and things like that. It would be cool, and add to the fun, if there were music in the pubs. It was cool like that. So people can sit there and talk and listen to music instead of nothing. :-). Anyone else like this idea? I personally think its a great idea.

i agree.i usually put in a cd of my own to boost the fun.
Ne one else up for this i hope becuz i need music for game play :P

music will be added when the staff get around to doing it (mainly Pandilex for music), composing is a hard thing to do, and takes a while. Music can't just be copied from the internet for copyright reasons.

I would be interested in composing music for the game. I've been using my computer as a studio for three years now with a Yamaha CS1X, a Yamaha DJX2 (crappy, but use it for sequencing), Acid, FruityLoops 3.4 and Reason. I would be curious as to what Pandilex used for MIDI creation and composition so we could perhaps swap files or whatnot. Give me a holla.

please no midi.... its so limited, atleast look into s3m or mod music. the software is free and it doesnt sound like an 8-bit nintendo game.

midi sounds fine if you have a decent sound card like the sound blaster 1024/live

yeah i have a sb live card me lil studio pc, its some fun, i guess its really up to the composer how bad or good midi sounds. as long as the instruments sound like actual instruments im ok.

Load up winamp before nightmist if you dont want nightmist to nick your sound card. I quite like fruityloops, although its too easy to put too much into a tune with it.... i had acid a few year back but lost it, anyone know where you can get it now?

Muahaha FruityLoops is ownage. I use MTV music generator (kinda crappy but $10) and reason at school.
