Is str needed for rangers since they use a bow?
Is int used for anything with rangers?

str is needed, you have to have a certain ammount of strength to pull the arrow far enough back, the farther back, the more damage.

int is used to determine rate that flaming arrow poisons

I personally think int should help in hitting with arrows, and doing damage. (the aim, aim for the leg, its not gonna kill, aim for the heart, OUCH!)

I think your wrong again, Int is used for Only Mages. according to jlh anyway and whatever he says goes.

I don’t believe it is used for flaming arrow poison, but I am not completely sure, they do need strength but either way you mostly won’t use flaming arrow, until they improve flaming arrow you should stick to rapid fire that you get at level 23.

I have been told many times int has to do with flamming arrow, I don't know if it necessarily has to do with poison effect, but I could be wrong, wouldn't be first time.

i was told by a couple people that forage had a 10% chance of finding something, no matter your stats

Hmm, well long time ago I think Intell helped your forage, would make sense.. Think I asked JLH(or someone), but not sure if it does now or not..
