None of us had stat increasers, i had 246 MP left, It was No Pots/Mana Crystals, How can you complain paladins are bad....

They are best for PVP.

Same with Cleric a lv 30 cleric (good stats) should have no prob winning a duel. a Pally is a fighter/cleric and its great they rock at lv 30

Correct me if i'm wrong, but the odds were in favor of the pally.  I mean, the fighter was 2 levels lower, and the pally had CSoTW.  Even with this there didn't seem to be any major advantage for the pally, even though i would have thought using a 10mil gold weapon would give you a major advantage.  It's no suprise the pally won though with the level differance and the CSoTW...

p.s. my main crit is a pally, lvl 27, and i love that crit, but i still think they could do with a little tweaking or something new for them (having one extra base with the rose blade is good to see, but still not great).

yea pallys are just fine! I killed a level 30 ranger and he was at full health

( did the same to a level 26 zerker who had a hally ) and I have no crs or sgs...  and my stats are also pretty lame  ::)  so what do you say to that huh ? that ranger was 3 levels higher then I was AND he had champs str, right, and all those spells and I still won :D and all I had was holy speed  :-/

Pallys are not weak. if anything they are strong  :)


you just have to know how to use them

People say they are weak because of their inability to round someone.  They are great for duels when your opponent doesn't run, but when trying to pk anyone with 150+ hp, they will likely run before you can kill them with a paladin.

I personally like them a lot, they are very effective for me since I do not go looking for pks. I like the fact that they can survive for some time out on their own with a inventory of mana crystals.  They can deliver a good amount of damage with spells cast, and with the armor bonus that halflings give, my paladin lasts a long time when off training or getting gold ect.

i personally feel pally's need some tweaking, but are a great class and should beat any class other then a cleric (depending on what weapons are used and pot, mana ratio) in a straight up duel.

but also, as what-ever-their face stated, you did habe a cobalt staff, which would make a lvl 20 anything beat an arch fighter

Ah, yes, paladins are my favorite job class. Training a fighter becomes easier when paired with one. That's the way I operate with my two prime crits.  :)

i didnt read any pot drinking from the other person....ofcourse the pally will win. Palladins are great, but you guys need to post a duel where the pally is at an unfair advantage :-P

Its not unfair. They didn't say 'don't cast any spells' therefore he can cast aid, its not fair if you ban the use of one of the paladins best spells. That duel was fair.

were you controlling all the crits yourself? or was someone actually attacking you? because fighting yourself isn't exactly accurate...you'd probably hold back on the pally slightly to make it a little more even, whether you realize it or not

if he was using stam trick correctly you would have lost, period, I almost lost a 1v1 duel twice because of it, despised and hybrid both... I barely won those...so I seriously doubt you could beat two if they played the crits properly

quite simple put aid on a macro put the macro on autosend and hold it down  :)

OK firstly was is a no pot duel? If it was a no pots duel, anyone could have done it.

Also if all you did was hold down the Aid macro you couldnt have done any damage to them. So you could not of won.

If you are merely stating that you survived a few rounds from them both, that is also very simple.

I'd love to sit and watch this duel take place, it would be one of the miracles of nightmist if you could win, which I highly doubt if everything is done correctly, you would run out of mana if it is a no pot duel, if pots, you'd still get stomped. Rapid + Smite = Death, in fact, I would think the zerker would click you unless you have some ungodly amount of hp, either that...or the stats on those two crits is just horrid

I also beat a arch zerker with out useing 1 mana crystal and he had full adv pots and his str dex and con were perfect

i beat cucumber with my pally unholysoul 1 on 1 and he had a cobolt staff i won but not buy very much i had 78 health and 4 mp left i didnt think to copy the fight but it was very very long like 15 mins lol
