Amulets of Lag Protections are pretty abandonned. Basically the exact same as Amulet of Hermes but you have to be level 30. So my suggestion is maybe +1 to the ac on it to make it a little more personalized than that Amulet of Hermes that you could wear at level one.

In what way are they abandoned? Not many people like them, cus for a lil bit more (In most cases), you can get the same item, and use it on all your crits.

The main reason anyone would buy an AoLP, is to stand out that lil bit more.

I agree that the AoLP should have an extra one point of ab, simply becuase it's a lvl 30 item and should be somewhat stronger than a lvl 1 item.

The level 1 thing costs 1 mill gold. The level 30 thing doesn't. The AoLP is fine. Sure, its not used that often but if you can go out to get one its much easier than spending a mill on an AoH.

Are we forgetting that this level 30 items is a free item (boss drop) where as the aoh is 1 mil gold. I think it is actually a pretty balanced item. You get all the bells and whistles of the 1 mil gold item for free with only 1 restriction....level.

Could a level 1 come in and kill the lag monster by himself, no. You have to bring many level 25+ and it still takes 2 hours + to kill, so yes it is free in cost, but you do have to work for it.

Its possible, ive seen many noobs get lucky and roll a 6 stat, therefore having more than 1 mil gold.

Well.. I was looking at the graph that said theres 4k characters *shrugs*

Edit: But if you add up the amount of races there are, you get 18109.. so I guess they need to update some of those stats :P

Then make everyone pay for the key. If everyone pays the same amount then it doesnt matter who gets the drop... or, instead of being a cheap annoyance you could just let the person who kills it get the drop?

Anyone can solo lag monster.... as long as you have numerous keys and lots of gold to waste for mana and such.

lol, its only "free" after you spends countless hours/days wiating for the bartender to be randomly slaughtered, or pay 500kish for the key...
