I've offten wondered why I cannot use * in party chat... and I see no reason as to why I can't... :-/

It works in everything else so why not make it in party chat too?

Do you really need it in party chat though? I can see why its in other things because they are generally chat related, but you'd think that party chat would be different because it would be related to your party, you should be talking about where your going and what and who your killing, I don't think its really needed in party chat.

I have to agree with Teh Fluff. It would be pointless. And if you wanted, you could go /hug xxx in open square.

Yeah, but, an enemy could see who was in yer party if ya did it that way.. but, I still don't see the need for it.. when who/what/where is more important.

It isn't important. I was just saying, if you really wanted to...you could do it in public chat. Hell, even you could add them to your friends list and do it.
