Why? I mean why is it worth JLH's time to code that instead of something else? Just seems a little pointless really.

Wouldn't be too smart to drop gold anyways.. you can always give it to the person or do the whole selling your stuff on the site.. and buying it off the site yourself or whatever instead.

Why should it say how much is dropped? You can look at it laying on the floor and see how much it is.

You can also just look how much gold you have on you when you are given some, but how much you are given was added not so long ago.
