Title: Vortex gate .... Post by Cule on 07/12/03 at 20:00:16 i read the vortex gate phhh think and i got to thing about how to make the vortex gate more useful and not make the walking useless .... so .... this my idea is rather raw but here goes. a mage can cast vortex gate "local point" in a square and when he/she casts a vortex gate again he/she or the party ( i dunno how vortex gate works ... does the mage bring the whole party whit him or what?) will emerge in the "local point" that the mage put it. note that this isnt all ofcourse othervise this would be excactly the same as before ... A mage cannot put the local point in anyplace ... there would be places that has a certain magical force etc. bla blah blaah. so that it would be like mages having "extra" local points compared to other classes ... this is a bit raw!!! :-/ |

Post by Alicia on 08/07/03 at 00:21:28 atm all the gate does is say to players "You must bring a mage, and accept the lag of dragging along an extra crit, coz ur not gonna risk not keeping him invis 24/7 coz if he dies ur all phuqed" * recalls losing the party mage about 6 levels up the sentant mountains Or, "you can cast the gate here if you are too lazy to go 4 squares north and log" * remembers when you coudnt log at the cg... hmm how about the mage guilds? * is useless at levelling mages so i just buy them and stick to the lev they are at And the one that used to be at southgate... * remembers a lonely valentines day :(... Oh and then theres the supposed hidden area in jahanna maze * hasnt found it yet, and has lost a few mages trying * looks at her archmaster mage... * wakes up |
