Alright, so you're strolling around covert, then someone spots you. Immediately, the whole square is notified. It would make more sense for only the person that spotted you to see you. When you perform an action or the usual, it would bring you out of covert like it normally does. How is it that if one person sees you, that the whole square is notified without them yelling "THIEF!! HE JUST ENTERED THE SQUARE!!!! AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!".

I think maybe thats what they mean when someone spots you, that the person automatically notifies the whole square that theres a thief

maybe it is more realistic the way you suggest but it would give thieves too much power.

Thieves arent spotted very often as far as i can tell. I mean once they are past lvl 20 or so they pretty much get left alone unless they are just moving too much...

If someone sees a thief in real life, such as a pick pocket or so, do they not yell that they see a thief?

still, i think i may have said this before. only one person spots a thief, that person should have to interact with the thief to make it visible to everyone on the square. lick the guy or wave at them then they're visible for all to see.

My thief is lvl15 right now, and only the dang towncriers have been able to uncovert her lately. Dang the town criers! lol

On that note, I don't think that it's reasonable that all thieves in a party (except the leader) is exempt from being spotted.

id say (if its even possible) the chance to get the entire party spotted, would depend on the coverted characters constitution.

You know what sucks about being spotted. Say you're moving real fast and your stam runs out and you've been spotted.. and it takes quite a bit of time to covert again.. and if someone were to approach you.. and attack.. you couldn't defend yourself right away until your stam came back.

On an upnote: My thief actually managed to walk past a towncrier the other day and stayed covert! ~giggles insanely and sticks her tongue out at Zellish~

That was un-called for, my main thief can walk past towncriers without getting spotted easily now.
