Title: New Class Post by AlliedAssault on 02/18/03 at 15:59:06 I was looking over the the classes that we have now and they all seem good, but i noticed something. Theres an elf and a half-elf. Since there is a half-orc I was thinking that maybe we should create just an orc class. orcs are powerful but have limited movement so their stats could be something like 21,15,17,22,15,15. This could compensate for their strength and dexterity. The wisdom is low because as we see ingame orcs are very much so mage bait. Just a thought. Allied |

If you really want an orc class, look at the name of the class "half-orc". Basically saying that it is half-orc and half-human(most likely). True orc stats would be terrible and nobody would play them. Something around 24 12 13 24 11 13. Even bigger and stupider than half-orcs. I just don't think it would be a worthwhile class if ever made. |

I have played other games similar to nightmist. the all have a orc class who is strong,has a lot of hp,and hit most often(using blunt weapons i.e. axe). The knowledge of saying it would be dumb would be wrong. i dont know about you but id much rather have a perf elf then half-elf. Orcs arent all to bad.If u have the knowledge to think around the bubble you will understand what i am saying. Anyways just a thought. Allied |

It woudld be nearly impossible to create a race that is so primitive and not be played that way. Since no one in the game actually role-plays, whats the point. A true orc is also classified as an 'evil' race and would therefore be catagorized as 'bad guy'. Basicaly calling hte race half-orc instead of jsut plain old orc allows for the race to be played with soem intelligence and the ability to choose to be 'good'. that is the reason that it is called half-orc. |

Just like half-elves, they are a mix between Human and Elf, getting a stat mix between Human and Elf. And Pandi reinforced the point that Orcs are not friendly. (How could a human and a orc... That was one ugly human :D) |
