There are of course many variations on how this could be done.. maybe a /clan sell item could be used for the same shop for those who didnt want to donate, Putting the item into the same shop, but the gold going to the seller instead.. there could be an automatic pricing on that as well, or set by the seller... depends on how the programmers wanted to set it up. Would be an added benafit if the Founder was able to set the auto pricing of the items by /clan aprice item/???. Now that I have confused you guys (and myself as well) Imma go play nightMist ;D |

And, I think it is a good idea. Having a normal shop in a clan house... I dunno about that - should have a very steep price if it is allowed. But you could be charged a fee to have certain items (which would make it very expensive). Don't think church is necessary as people don't need to leave their chars. online forever doing nothing and the sauna does everything else. |

Being that a clan house with lets say 24 squares is a castle already, one would just assume they would have a church. What about those clans with 30 rooms? Wouldn't a city have a church? And about moving clan houses to Arilin, why can't we edit them in arilin? Someone mentioned in a previous post that relocated clan houses would not be able to be modified/added on to anymore. |

Allow the clan to purchase the magic/items shop then make them responsible for keeping it stocked with items given at a discount price. Maybe only founders allowed to purchase these items at a discounted rate. With a minimum number to purchase. Make it kinda like the way you buy a room. You goto the discount store clicking the items you would like to buy having the gold on you. Then running back to the clan house in the shop using a command like /restock to make the purchase final. With this idea it would be nice to see atleast 20% of the sale of these items go back into the clan bank.. |

It needs to have a certain disadvantage to it. Something that wont let players be able to play the entire game from that arena. Would be a good idea for newer players to the clan though. Seeing them get pked all the time gets annoying >>... |

Of course you would have to buy the items at 15% more to cover the traveling charges. It would save you the trip though. Say you need an enchanted bow, well they are sold in Blackthorn for 10,000 gold. If you had this shop you could buy it for 11,500 gold, without going all the way to BT. 2) Clan house cleric, this would allow clan members to go into clan house pay a small fee to be "buffed" with spells by an NPC cleric of sorts. Just to throw a number out, perhaps 50 gold per spell? The fee could go into the clan bank. 3) Weapon Engineer, this NPC would be paid a fee which is donated to clan, to temporarily increase a weapons base damage. I dont know how much it could cost or how much it would improve but just and idea. |

Maybe if we made the monsters give 3/4 xp and 1/4 gold, except that 1/4 gold went to the clan house, then maybe it'll work. And also, the monsters that can be summoned in the arena has to be bought, so say if a clan buys a arena, if they actually want say to add a ettin to the monsters able to be summoned list, they have to pay maybe 75k for it, there could a huge aray to monsters to choose from and they'd all vary in prices. |

It would add more rarity, and individualism. Have it able to change it kinda like the description sets in clan rooms where u can change name, and description, but dont have it change any of the base dam. or anything like that. |

Plus, there could be copyright issues. "Link attacked you with his Master Sword for 3 points of damage". It's just sort of a bad idea across the board... give your equipment nicknames if you want to, but there's no reason why they should be put ingame. |

Title: Re: New Clan Room Ideas Post by koss on 01/17/03 at 00:03:25 I know yall will hate this idea but.... would it be cool if the clannies had an arena unlike the 1 we have now were we could call animals and train there and after we kill about 300 of the monsters a boss would come and after u kill that boss u would have to kill like 400 and so on and the bosses get harder every time and all the clan can go into the arena at 1 time and i have 1 more idea if u have an alt that needs like an item out of ure vault u should be able to invite a member thats not in the clan u can invite them for an amout of time just so u wont have to waist ure time login on the alt that is in the clan it would be a little faster i think if u dont like my idea well ty for being honest ;D |

I'm also thinking Arena could work IF! a few things were tweaked and so. Like, a Lvl 2 Lvl arena, like, Lvls. 1-10 can Train in an Arena with the NM Arena Monsters, then add another with 11-20 Monsters, such as Orcs, Large Snakes, Trolls, Tables and Chairs (In my opinion, Tables and Chairs are 11-20 monsters...), Gnolls, etc., 21-30 being Sand Spiders, Scorpions, Scarabs, and Wolves etc., Just a thought, just an opinion :D -Edit- And about the Exp, er...not sure, cut down by half? And if people think clannies might just spend all day, maybe set a time, like 5 hours a day per clannie or something. |

What could be done to reduce use of them is make is the monsters drop ZERO gold, no gold to clan or anything. and the monsters give you 1/4th exp. it has a big set back to keep people from training all the time in there, but when they are getting pk'ed and all the arena's are over flowing with people, you could just go to clan house. |
