Don`t quote me but I believe he respawns almost instantly after you leave the sqaure and I have never not gotten a drop so I would guess 100%.

I guess I am just lucky then or what your attempting to ask is what the drop rate for the Shield of Faith is. In the event you are asking bout the SoF then it is a once a day drop (random of course). And it isn`t dropped by Zanitos.

Zanitos is just the boss that protects the SoF. The Shield of Faith is a /examine in the room right after Zanitos.
