Whats the best amulet to buy for a mage the wis ammy or the int ammy . . .

i would say ammys are a waste for mages but maybe the int one cuz that affect damage and i thought i remembered jlh said the wisdom ammy doesn't give you more wis just like the const ammy doesn't give you more hp :(

Personally, I would get hermes.. More dex..

Getting the intell one, only adds to about 5 dmg more per beam..

Thats 25 - 20 more points of damage a round, which isn't too bad, still, Being a mage, hitting harder isn't what you want, you wanna be able to dodge more, so I'd also say go for Hermes.

i have to disagree with all of you...im gonna go with the wisdom ammy....first off, mages have aura, which means you wont be hit for nearly as much. Mages dont use dex when they attack, theirs is based upon wisdom, so i believe a higher wisdom means you would hit more consistantly.

If you want to know ask Proteus. He told me once. Had all kinds of equations and stuff to support why he felt that any ammy but a Hermes was a waste for a mage. I would tell ya what he said but he kinda confused me and seemed like he was in a rush. Bottom line....Hermes

You are all wrong. Definetly wrong. The best amulet for a mage is Amulet of Sythos. (HEHEHE)

If you got enough gold, you can "buy" it from a player HeHe.
