Ok, I was pretty sure that there was only one Rune Staff ingame. Now I got people telling me different. How many are there?? And what does Aet'Thol drop?

Any answers would be much appreciated. ;D

I know of two definate Rune Staves one being owned by me the other by Gus(Insomnia) however there was a third but im sure it was deleted due to the characets inactivity. To answer your second question Aet'Thol drops an Amulet of the Lich. That should answer both your questions.

I went to him the other day. Apparently he attacks with a rune staff. Perhaps he has a double drop like the Atrium Monarch. Obviously extremely low though, probably 1-2% if it even does. Man, that would be way cool.

i thought it had a double drop? and why should the drop rate be really low? that stupid dude is like a major pain in ths ass to kill :D

edit: i went there with some friends total of around 20 crits including 10 archies. didn't get it past slight :(

5 Arch clerics with people getting mana for them can kill him... The problem isn't getting the people to grab mana crystals... It's getting the 5 archmaster clerics.

I thought he did drop (with low chance) a Rune Staff... And Amulet of the Lich with good chance. Does he or doesn't he drop the Rune Staff?

Yes, it is undead. It has TONS of armor. The best way to kill it is healing it, because his armor will absorb most of the blows.

I don't think Rune Staff will be droped... first it was a quest... so why should any monster drop those old quest stuff? I think if I would own the only left rune staff in this game I would be really pissed if a new boss can drop it... so I am pretty sure Amulet of The Lich is only drop.
PS.: I don't think that amulet sells for a lot so I would make the boss a bit easier... :D

hmmm if it did drop a rune staff that boss might actually be worth more time I heard it was a pain to beat so stuck to other bosses..

The Amulet is good, but I think it's too hard, specially if it doesn't drop the staff.

Hmm, one of the people just got given the rune staff by staff, it wasn't from a quest. I don't know about the others, but if it wasn't from a quest then theres no reason he can't drop it (with a very low drop rate)

I want the Crystal Giant to drop Bracelet of Speed since it takes so much time to kill it. :)

If the Crystal Giant did drop the BoS then it would have to be with a VERY low drop rate.  If it did have a very low drop rate then i think it would be a pretty good idea, or maybe another boss could be put in with a new area to drop the BoS at a very low rate?

lol, at least Aet'Thol and the Rune Staff are related, BoS and CG have nothing to do with each other.
