What your opting for is some type of /ignore list?  Seems like a good idea, but I can see it being taken advantage in some small way.

yeah an /ignore list would be nice :D and maybe something to ignore someone in general chat? and how to take advantage of this?

not quite sure.  Something about not knowing that the person is on could somehow alter mindset or whatnot.  I don't really have anything solid here...

those are some good ideas one way to implament it would to have a .ini file for nightmist that would send simple comands to the server when you first log on of course this would have to be limited to very few comands but that would be a good way to start a user side features list..

I supose the file would have to be as such

[Header information]

[AllUsers]
[UserName]
SendCMD:/ignore Person's-Name-Here

[UserName1]
SendCMD:/ignore Person's-Name-Here
SendCMD:/covert

[UserName2]
SendCMD:/ignore Person's-Name-Here
SendCMD:/covert

I guess you could make it so when you log onto nightmist acount manager you can set the comands up like a box

|~~~~~~~Text~Area~~~~~~~|Add Comand|

when you put the text in you would only add the comand the client would add the sendcmd: or how ever you wana code it I wouldn't see a problem with this outer then comands like /yell all though that would be fun as well to come on and yell that you are here I guess I can see the fun in that I guess now this should be put in the suggestoins area

Isn't it easier to put /ignore player on macros and just press a key when you log in?

no it's easier when the person is muted forever withouth you having to do anything for it.

I'd have to agree with nightmare on that.

Yeah, I rarely ever use this emote.. it would be nice if you could permanately shut the person up from contacting you. When I put em' on ignore.. I take em' right back off.. because I feel bad and I end up talking to them the next day or so. Not to mention you can't shut em' up when they're annoying you in clan. /clan chat off won't seem to work.. if you'd want to see what the rest are saying as well.

yeah i think /ignore would have to stop any text the person is showing to you. (if that makes sense)

like you can't c his pages, you can't c his clan chat messages and you can't c what he types in regular chat :D

would be the best option i think.

Just one flaw...if ppl respond to the one that u have on ur ignore list ...u wont have a cleu what they are talking about if u cant even see that the 'ignored' sayd something...

will get very irritating
