Title: Druids Post by Bullitt on 03/05/03 at 19:05:24 Just a few things I’m interested to find out about the new druids, if anybody can help it would be much appreciated: Is intelligence now needed? What factors influence the damage on the 2 spells? – Both seem to do the same damage for me (sweet as it is mind). Does morph simply give a hit bonus or is dexterity changed, i.e. is it harder for people to hit you like with the old system? Thanks. |

Title: Re: Druids Post by PureMourning on 03/05/03 at 19:54:47 I don't know of this has been brought up some where else on the forums, but... I type /morphset puma, then even at full MP I didn't have enough to change into the Puma. Then, I wanted to set it as something not as strong. So, Itype /morphset panther, but it said I already have something set, or something. Anyone know how do set a new morph? |

Title: Re: Druids Post by Bullitt on 03/05/03 at 20:12:53 You can't, it's a one-time thing. Maybe there is just a bug related to the puma morph, panther worked ok for me. All the morphs give the same bonus anyway, just to look pretty ;). |

Title: Re: Druids Post by Proteus on 03/06/03 at 01:46:03 You guys really should read the update OR the instructions for morph before you pick. |

Title: Re: Druids Post by Galatae on 03/08/03 at 17:28:56 Ok, I read the post and did know that /morphset was permanent. and I chose puma also. If you're saying the puma morph doesn't give the same bonus as the other morphs, I think you're wrong. Or it was fixed by the time I read this post. I have 2 druids one morphs Tiger, the other Puma and both get a much higher damage/hit rate than without morph, so it does work. |

Title: Re: Druids Post by Demonic on 03/10/03 at 14:36:09 first... all morphs are like the same (just another name) no other abilities. It costs 100mana for 5mins and you have full hp if you morph... You can't use spells while morphed and can't morph back... :( |

Title: Re: Druids Post by Lyandor on 03/13/03 at 16:02:27 I know there all the same. I never said they weren't. |

Title: Re: Druids Post by Norinth on 03/13/03 at 21:18:29 But they shouldnt do the same, we should be able to choose other morphs, maybe it shouldn't heal you when you morph and we should be able to unmorph. |

Title: Re: Druids Post by Bullitt on 03/14/03 at 13:10:22 Why shouldn’t they do the same? As far as I can see morph system is sweet, although there is obviously the debate as to the un-morph situation, doesn’t really bother me either way though. Druids are possibly the most diverse class now with lots of niceties to keep it interesting and fun, they certainly don’t need other morphs with the new upgrades. I think the idea of having one animal form the druid is in touch with and can call upon, to be very funky indeed. People are never ever happy, the druid class cannot incorporate everyone’s ideas and personal whims, and the bottom line is that druids got juiced and they are pretty much perfect in terms of balance, spells and abilities. |
