hey,

can someone tell me what percentage of exp you lose when you die? i wanna be able to calculate how much exp i need to have before i die so it doesn't come below some limit :p

btw i used to think it's 1% but i got the idea it might even be less :)

If it was 1%, why do lvl 1's lose 10 exp all the time, that aint 1% of 29, for a dwarf

It is pretty close to 1%. One of my crits has about 125 mil, and if he gets pked, goes down to 124 mil, which is roughly 1% of his exp.

ive never had a lvl 1 lose 10 exp, they always lose 1 with me

I belive I read a while ago that it is 0.05% exp loss when you die. If i come across it again I will copy to this post.

just estimate 1% & as you know 1% of 10 is 1 just multiply & figure what 1% of your exp is (divide subtract what ever it is) then try to gain 2% of your exp while your out lvling so you don't have to worry bout losing more than you gain:D

if it's 1% you got to devide by 99 and then multiply with 100 but i think it's more like 0.75%?

I went out with around 241 million exp and was pked and then had around 240 million.... so I bet it's pretty low... I'd say closer to the .5%

A long long time ago, it was posted that exp loss was reduced to 0.5% of total exp
