It can be used south of NM, near the Crystal Giant path.

It 'has' to be used to get to the lvl 30 mage guild. It's used somewhere in the mountains of Sentant and in the desecrated church (though with the level restriction cannot be accessed). There are others I'm sure...

Tiggy's Magic Store.
Elshira's Layer.
South of Crystal Chamber.
Not sure about lvl 30 pally guild, but you cant get there anyway, coz mages cant...lol.
To advanced level mages guild.
To level 30 mages guild.
To valentine shop, south gatehouse.
Desecrated Church.

Not sure how many others, there are a few I wont mention, coz they special, and i'm sure there are ones I dont know.

this is realy the most pointless spell I can think of they need to make usable in more places other wise I just don't see the point of having it :-/

lol that is true but if the areas it can be used are too common then if someone is fighting someone else they will just vortex gate and poof they will not die. It would be way to powerful then

Well, I found out what it was on my own, lol. I think it's preety cool, and wouldn't mind seeing a couple more areas in the game with it.

It can also be used in the desert. Where you go up into the airship cast vortex, will take you to boars tusk.

Could you ppl tell me to where it gets you when you use it in each of the places? I know that in Tiggy's it takes you to a scroll shop (I think it's vortex gate scroll).
