it is just taking up spell book space when u got a spell that hits for 40's at lvl 15 or so. Just do /hide jolt that will take care of it.

They should just remove it to stop new druids wasting their money on it.

U get stormwrath on lvl 10 and u get jolt on lvl 15.....shouldnt jolt do more damage then. Cuz jolt just does half the damage that stormwrath does.

Removing an existing spell so players dont have to spend money is wrong. There would need to be a better reason then that to remove it.(I know you said about levels and damage)

At least upgrade it accordingly with other spells so it comes somewhere inbetween the 2 spells below it and before it (attacking ones).

Stormwrath sucks?  ??? If they made jolt stronger than storm, then people (primarily mages ::) ) may complain about it being too powerful.  There have already been a few complaints about storm being a bit ridiculous for a lvl 10.  To easily solve this problem, jolt should just be available at a lower lvl and storm at a higher one.

hmm my mage does 80 damage with beam and at lvl 25 my druid does like 55 damage with storm i say storm sucks although it should be available at higher level then jolt yes :D

I'm gonna say this once Me and so other people were out in barrier forest and we came upon a rock monster thing and I had my druid and we couldent hit anything off it and i thought about it Electricity and jolt so I used Jolt and it knocked off his hp and then thats what Jolt is for I think (Correct me if im wrong)  ;D

The rock monster is the gargoyle and i believe any magic such as stromwrath can also hurt it.

but it sort of makes sense that it doesn't work underground, its a storm spell correct? what kind of storm would you ever be able to create underground?

LOL! I'm just thinking of a druid underground, and he tries to cast stormwrath on someone, then some unsuspecting newb above ground is talking to another one.

Newb #1: "I swear, I killed 12 bears by myself."

Newb #2: "You are sooooo full of crap."

Newb #1: "May lightning strike me where I stand if I'm lying." -BOOM!!!-

:D :D :D :D

jolt isnt a replacement for stormwrath underground, cuz nature's fury works just as well, except i guess jolt costs a tiny bit less.

Jolt is better underground cause nature's fury takes up more mana

Title: Re: Jolt
Post by CPG on 09/01/03 at 22:05:38
It may take less mana, but it does a considerable amount less damage. It's best to train above ground with stormwrath.

Yeh but if ur underground use jolt and the best way to train is morphing.

My personal opinion says Jolt is a worthless piece of junk.

You raise your arms, and beams of blue energy arc forth, striking an Orc for 38 points of damage.
You call on the power of nature to attack an Orc for 64 points of damage.

Morph + gaea's blessing is only best to train higher lvl druids with.  The lower lvls miss too much which is why stormwrath is most effective.

Edit: Note: Jolt and stormwrath cost 10mp while Nature's Fury costs 15mp
