Title: The New Image Post by Pandilex on 01/14/04 at 00:41:57 In response to the ever increasing amount of abuse I've been recieving, branding me numerous things, I've decided that there's only one sensible thing I can do. Rather than disregard, or dispute any of the accusations, I've decided to embrace them all. From now on, I will no longer be nice Pandilex, but evil Pandilex. I will be enforcing every rule I have set forth, without any warning. People who disrespect myself, or other staff members on the forum or in game will be instantly banned, with no warning. I will contact their internet service provider if they want to try to be clever and bypass any bans. For the duration of this transition, I will contribute -nothing- to this game, which will put the various class updates that were pending on hold. When some semblence of order is returned, and people appreciate their place, then this will stop. For those people who reply to this thread with "It's a shame so many people have to ruin the game for others etc." there's no point. For anyone who tries to flame this post, well - no reply necessary your posts won't survive for long, and your forum account probably won't last much longer. For people who think I'm 'tripping out, oh here he goes again threatening people', I'm not going to be nice any more - I have seen that threats don't work, so there will be no more. For anyone else, please replace the handset, and try again. Some new punishments for breaking the rules include permenant loss of attributes from your main characters, loss of experience, and even permenant character deletion. Have a nice day :D |

Or do the sensors stopping it fix that? And flamming people who are not staff or anything like that...is that ok?...cause some of us are really dumb and need a little harrassment. Just wondering cause I'd rather ask than find out though example. |

Title: Re: The New Image Post by Dc on 01/17/04 at 00:21:03 hmm this is interesting, but i do think it is both wrong and right. i have on various occasions seen staff "poking fun" at players, should the staff not expect the same in return. if you are referring to everyone asking for random things and help and such, then i totally agree with you. but to stop all game development is ridiculous. over banning and things like this will only make people not want to play this anymore. while i do agree that some players do break rules, you also have to relize that some staff instigate this. i believe that some people should have to straightn out, but you are hurting everyone in the game for the faults of a few. i know you said not to say that, but it is true. if you wanna play god in a game that you created, fine, but if you wanna have people actually play the game, you should enforce the rules, but not lose your calm like you just did. if i get banned for this or whatever fine, but all i can say is that you are causing problems for people who dont deserve it. enforce the rules, but use sence and dont be ridiculous. not everything is the the fault of the players, while i am very grateful that this game is provided free for now, and i am gratfull to have staff to enforce the rules, the staff cause problems too. this is ridiulous. |
