I started this game in the last version..a bit before it reset and I remember it has a story line -a back ground story if you will-...sooo...I was just wondering..is there a story for this version? seeing as the old one (the one about norinth and ewin) doesn't fit anymore.

There is no introductory story for the new Nightmist. The text written on the opening website page is that of pre-reset's introduction.

What do you expect? Hardly anyone cares about a storyline, or descriptions, ect... NM has turned into a hige PK fest. They might as well give all new players a level 30 equiped and allow people to fight in towns.

I know most wont be bothered about the storyline but it annoys me when I see people saying that nightmist is just a mass slaughter house. I know I rarely use my main alts (that the big people will know are me) and sometimes I like my pacifist and others (you all don't know). The world I meet on both is not like this and I feel that the newer people of nightmist often do see a much different side of things to this. While on a very low level of mine someone thought I was new to the game and it was nice to see how some people are so willing to help new people to get to know the game still.

I just like to show an opposing opinion to the suicidal maniac side of the game and say if you act right and find the right people it doesn't have to be like that.

You're right it doesn't, but 99% of the people with that attitude are low(ish) level/new themselves. People quickly forget about that side of the game when they have power themselves.

sadly, you're right. Like me, I played before the reset, although it was on and off, but still...I never got any arch >:( although I got millions of gold..but still no arch...that pissed me off!! >:( >:(

Not to be an arrogant oldmist player or anything, but the arch concept didn't exit til sometime after the reset and Pengant was post-reset staff. If I misunderstood you then I am sorry.
