Title: Re: Triplex Event 15-11-03 Post by Stigmata on 11/17/03 at 19:09:07 I'd just like to point out something with thanks to JLH for mentioning it - the last guy that apparently got disconnected left the game after I frantically beat at him with my morning star (sometimes even doing 10 damage!!!!) for around 20mins. He had 0 pots and 100 odd hp left................so make up your own minds :D |

Title: Re: Triplex Event 15-11-03 Post by Rage on 11/17/03 at 21:12:34 heh cuz he is no threat and noone cares to attack him so he always has full pots in the end while rest are almost completely drained. |

Title: Re: Triplex Event 15-11-03 Post by Tatsu on 11/17/03 at 23:54:49 lol yeah didnt get disconnected, i was just getting low on pots so i thought 'well i could die with honor, or i could get dced for holding macros'...so i did ;D im just happy because all the rounds i won i probably shoulda lost, including the 5 player melee, which was actually me and parental vs....but then i lost the one i stood a reasonable chance of winning...o well, it was good fun anyway :) nice one chaos for donating triplex ammy, but it would have been more fair had u just let Deathwish back in triplex after he got dced, rather than letting quark have it ;) |

Title: Re: Triplex Event 15-11-03 Post by New Generation on 11/18/03 at 08:47:43 He didnt "let me have it" - it was a mosh in which anyone who wanted it had the chance to compete. Luckily for me i managed to win it and the amulet with it. on 11/17/03 at 21:12:34, Rage wrote:
Funny, since ive noticed a pattern in moshes, im normally the first to be hit by alot of people - especially the TR party - and if i survive they seem to turn to other people. And this is literally EVERY mosh... And to correct you saying "he always has full pots" when only our party remained and we had a random, i had only 4 pots in my invent, of which i got more when we killed the other party after the split. Id also like to hear the reason why im "no threat" - memo me it, i could do with so humour... |

Title: Re: Triplex Event 15-11-03 Post by Tadpole on 11/18/03 at 10:30:35 You aren't a threat. Fighters attack slow. ppl wit fast attacks are threats. Therefore you are no threat. |

If thats so, why does the TR party hit me first all the time?? If im so "slow" then why try to remove me from the mosh asap? |

Title: Re: Triplex Event 15-11-03 Post by Mephistroth on 11/18/03 at 12:11:44 Because they don't like you? Stop trying to give yourself more credit than you deserve. I agree with Tadpole, its much better to remove the classes that can kill with only one click. |

Obviously it isnt, but every time i've been in a mosh with Quark the first to drop are from TR like Jen, Chris etc...does that mean you're good? Seeing as they go for you first? |

Title: Re: Triplex Event 15-11-03 Post by Mephistroth on 11/18/03 at 16:55:34 lol, some of your posts are hard to understand, try wording things a little better. Now, didn't I mention in my first post that it was because they didn't like him? (or might not) You've just made several posts arguing about something that I answered before you even started rofl |

i beg to differ....just look at round 3, 2 rangers and a cleric vs 2 fighters (one lvl 26) and a cleric, and yet the 'no threat' fighters won, without any of us being killed. i agree that in a mosh situation the one-click attack is more useful and much quicker, but i can still generally get off my attacks b4 they drink pots. just to prove this point, heres some triplex for u: You can't attack people here, the guards are everywhere! Countdown: GO! Lapse was hit by Opiate's rapid fire from his Enchanted Bow. Opiate rapidly fired at Lapse, but missed. Opiate rapidly fired at Lapse, but missed. Opiate rapidly fired at Lapse, but missed. Opiate rapidly fired at Lapse, but missed. Lapse attacked Lividity with his Halberd. Lapse attacked Lividity with his Halberd but Lividity's armor blocked the blow. Lapse attacked Lividity with his Halberd. Quark attacked Lapse with his Cobalt Staff of the Winds but Lapse's armor blocked the blow. Quark tried to attack Lapse with his Cobalt Staff of the Winds but missed. You attacked Lividity with your Halberd for 64 points of damage. You tried to attack Lividity with your Halberd but missed. You attacked Lividity with your Halberd for 58 points of damage. You attacked Lividity with your Halberd for 27 points of damage. You attacked Lividity with your Halberd but Lividity was partially protected by her armor for 28 points of damage. You killed Lividity You got 0 gold pieces. so there we have it, ranger attacks first but me and the other fighter both manage to attack before the thief can assassinate or drink pots. one final thought: no one wins when a forum thread goes off-topic. so keep the posts on topic, and say NO to strangers. im tatsu, goodnight. *credits* |
