Taught the little annoyance to rip people off.

The trade was: Internal (equipped) for Marissa and 54k.
Seeing as I knew he was a known thief, i decided to play a little game.

I gave him Internal UNEQUIPPED, and I got Erica's pacifist back.

Didn't very much bother me anyways. Internal was a crap crit.

I dont think you will be. because he excepted the trade so he got what you offered him.. there fore you didnt rip him off at all. If you used the internal trade system and he excepted the crit.

You are the bestest. I can never express my gratitude enough. I had finally accepted that I would never see my crits again and you went and got her back for me  ;D The loss of my thief was no biggie, just irritating..but I really missed my paci. Anything I can ever do for you, just holla at me.
 
 To the idiot who keeps saying that I gave my crits to you...you really don't know me at all..I loaned them to you thinking you were someone else..out of the goodness of my heart to help you out, and you played me. I am much less trusting now, and I will never loan out my guys again, but I will make sure to make your life as miserable ingame as possible. On a side-note, you have just experienced what makes TR the bestest clan ever...We all stick together and help eachother out...Always...

I disagree here fully.

Stealing is Stealing, it does not matter if the person your doing it from is a thief or not. Two wrongs do not make a right.

If you told him that the deal was for the crit equiped and you sent it un equiped, then your now a thief also.

This is not an Eye for an Eye community, now this person you stole from will tell everyone your a thief, and your only reaction will be, well he did it to someone else.

Im sorry, but i will not applaud your performance on this.

I do feel that since you came in here and told everyone about it, you should be banned.
After all, you did admit to ripping this guy off.

And for those of you who think I might be the fellow he ripped off, im not.

many people have openly admitted to theft, and nobody got banned. whether or not i'm being exampled, it doesn't matter. point is, i didn't ask for yours, or any opinions. i posted here simply to state i got it back, boo hoo, stfu, piss off.

Spongebob as i said a while ago. If staff can not help when someone steals a crit then an eye for an Eye a tooth for a tooth and crit for a crit. The person he took that crit back from just saw what it feels like to be taken. I dont think he is now a thief I also dont think he deserves a ban was actually with in the rules of the game. He made a trade and the person execpted it therefore he actually did nothing wrong.

Welcome to a world where it is better to be a vigalante than it is to let someone get away with stealing crits. What is funny the people who have been stolen from dont care and neither do the people who could, the ones who should have a problem with this are the ones who did the stealing.

Threat as i said before well done and thank you for getting her crit back. I offered a reward after it was stolen to anyone who could get the crit back and leave him hurting. if you wish it, it is yours just if you could give me a few days as jim and erica will tell you I moved to germany  so im not on as much but if you memo me i will send the money to you as soon as i can.  page or memo Lich in game

All I have to say to that is, he didn't rip the guy off, he rightfully re-aquired a stolen crit.

After all, the guy didn't even lose anything in the deal. He got another crit (even though it was unequipped) in trade for a crit that wasn't even his own to begin with. He should be happy that he got anything at all.

I personally agree with Spongebob. You are not 'the law', and you don't have any right to abuse the rules of the system to obtain what you believe to be 'justice'.

I'm actually going to have to agree with Spongebob22 on this. Adam, I like you and everything but at times you act like an immature prick. Just because someone doesn't agree with what you do theres no need to tell him to stfu (twice), tell him to piss off AND call him a noob. As Spongebob22 said, grow up.

Ahhhhh but pandi you yourself have stated that staff can not help if you agree to a trade give out your password or get hacked with out a fire wall. What he did is with in the rules of the game dont want people to use the rules to get back what was taken from us then change the rules. So that if a person steals a crit from someone then they are punished. Change them and people wont do things like this.

Untill you do that stick by your own words. If you wish i can alway post the connection to it on this very forum but i dont thing i need to i think you know where they are.

This wouldnt be an issue If A)People werent so careless with their stuff/computer/password/etc.. and B)If staff clamped down on the offenders when it DID happen.

And When I say that, I mean that BOTH have to happen for there to be any difference, Because if everyone was just that little bit more careful, if they regularly updated their virus scans/firewalls, and refrained from downloading files from unknown sources, or people they arent sure they can trust. Staff would be able to clamp down onto the few and far between cases, and that would act as a very large dampener to the spirit of any WOULD BE, thief...

So really, If you value your assets so much, trust only the best of friends, and always become pessimistic when it comes to trades/downloads/etc...

Basically, prevention is the best medicine :P

No they dont pandi I know of at least six cases where the person openly admitted on this board that they did it even whent as far as told you how and what rule they had abused and nothing and i quote NOTHING was done.

It looks like to me that a theif can abuse the rules all they want but god forbid others use that rule to get even with the thieves since staff only gets off thier A** to fix it when they think by letting it alone makes them look bad.

You once told me what was it ..... OHHHH yes Nightmist and the real world are two totally diffent animals when i asked you to get involved with a theft because he had given out pass and i stated that that made it alright for me to come visit you and steal your tv. Well i now give you your own words back.

In the real world being a vigilante is wrong because most governments will at least try to protect its citizens but as you said Nightmist and the real world two different worlds. Untill you at least attempt to protect ALL the people the same then you allow people to be vigilantes and get justice and guess what once again your own words. Justice is very often ours to decide. So change the rules or be fair to all.

In the real word the government will not allow you to go down to the store and hit someone over the head with a frying pan, taking their purse and calling it a PK.

Pking is apart of the game stealing the crits out of someones account is not. No where in the Agreement does it state that i hearby agree to allow to take what i have earned as soon as they can.... It does say that pking is part of the game.

Not even same topic. Stealing someones earned crits and items is theft. If you pked me and got the hally i just won that is one thing as that is part of the game. But to take a crit you know is mine and that i have earned and worked to get where it is not part of the game. Its not roleplay nor is it stated in the agreement that i am allowed to do it or allow you to do it.

Now being that pking is part of the game before people say stealing a crit can be. what happens when you kill me? i go to my local but i keep my crit.

First off this is spongebob22 Im at a buddies house and forgot my password to login, so im posting under his.

You missed my point compleatly, this is not the real world, this is a game, this is a game, this is a game. Period. End of story, and in this game Pandilex and JLH are your god, so you dont need to know anything, nor do you need to question anything they do or dont do. This is their world and they can change, modify or delete it according to their whims.
