is there a special nightmist download that works for macintosh or anything?

I'm at school and craving chat....

Lol doesnt matter anyhow... It just locks any fiel that is downloaded off the internet the second it finishes anyhow.

Oh well, Guess Ill just do my work... lol

ftp ;D I doubt the school will have them locked i think jlh has nightmist on the ftp sight not sure though.

if the imac can run a pc executable, generally they can't unless you use an emulator.

Yeh, I downloaded it, and got it where it wasnt locked, and it still didnt work.

Oh well. Guess ill just have to do typing then...

When you say didn't work...do you mean the install, login...etc.

The install is an .exe file. Look at what JLH said.

If someone gives me an imac with a recent version of MacOS X then I'll have a shot at writing a client for the mac. Otherwise, there's no way I can do it. There are emulators available which will run it though.

if you where so inclined to do so you could download a linux based os for free but they arn't the easyest to use os x I guess is easyer to use then installing ur own but never the less I'v tryed countless times to install it with out reading any info on it it and its nothing like windows its not just point and click but if u need links to fast download servers for free linux stuff lemme know and I'll see what I can dig up I have some some where lol oh and u will need a cd burner and about 7 or 8 cd's + for the iso's if u do decide to

I already have debian on CD, but I'm not inclined to install it as it is of no use to me. All my programs are for windows.

If I was going to program for other platforms, Java would be my choice of language, because I know for certain that it would work on any operating system.

I do not see any advantages of writing a java client at this time.
