Hey, I have decided to start playing Nightmist as it looks fairly cool. I have been on a few times before but didnt have the time to get hooked. Well, my main reason for posting is I would appreciate it if there might be somone kind enough out there to show me the ropes of Nightmist? I have played similar online games so I do have some basic knowlage of the game mechanics.

Some of you might know who I am, but most likely not.

P.S This is a real newbie question but is the server down at the moment? I cant connect so im guessing so.

Currently server isn't down, you should try to chose an alternate DNS port and try to reconnect. You can page Cough ingame and I'll help you to start playing nighmist.

I would suggest you try using some of the players sites to help you get started.

Yeah, any questions after that just ask some players, most are more than helpful.

Oh yeah, and if you get a Q that wasnt on the F.A.Q, and you get an answer, e-mail both the question, and the answer to JLH so he can update the F.A.Q. :)

Hey thanks for the help guys, Ive managed to roll a nice 5 stat ranger and get to like level 10 heheh. But I was wondering if there are any leveling guides? So far things I can kill give me barely any exp and anyrthing with decent exp I can never seem to hit. I have been to blackthorne, airlin, and resthaven and cant seem to find anything good around there to level on.

The key to fast levelling is travelling in a party. Damage from monsters is then reduced, as it is spread over a number of targets.
