They said it MIGHT go to p2p and i believe they didn't specify a rough date, probly just rumours going around.

Well JLH is paying £1K odd a year simply for his fast connection. Then there's computer upgrades and all the time he spends on it which is more than the untrained eye can tell, take my word for it.
There is more than one way of going about getting a little of this bill payed off not out of his own pocket. Pay-2-Play is an expression that could represent alot of different ideas.
As long as the Earth is turning, along with everything, pay-2-play is coming nearer by the day.

It was JLHs idea to make the game, he should be able to pay it himself. He shouldnt make us pay for a text-based game.

Although, you could have advanced memberships (like RoK) where when you pay you get some other stuff.

yes an advanced membership thingy wouldnt be bad.. as long as it didnt give other players a huge advantage.. maybe like some extra chat options and channels and maybe some new emotes.. and some other things *shrug*

Making everyone pay for a text based game?  Why not, you pay for any other game andyou enjoy this one so much to play it all the time and it isn't like the cost of p2p will cripple  your bank account.  Isay he should just make it p2p very soon, everything is ready, the point system is up, as soon as payment method is worked out then it can be done, no?  C'mon you know you want to  :P

that has got to be the most stupid thing i've heard today so far. while i can afford to run it myself, not everything has to be free, and if i choose to go p2p, then it will go p2p.

Amen to that!

So far we have enjoyed a game completely financed by JLH's wallet. It's high time we reimburse him for at least some of it, and when NM goes p2p you can bet that I will still be around.

I honostly don't know why JLH does it... why he spends all of his time and money on a game he doesn't get to enjoy.  Doesn't make sence to me, I would have made the game P2P from the start.  I wont play when it goes P2P, but I will still say that it's deffinatly a good idea.
