My friend asked me to post this, since there are no staff members currently on line (or they won't answer his yells) and he doesn't have a forum account. He is Tukwut ingame.

I have found two major flaws in the Pacifist system.

Flaw one: They ignore having to kill monsters to pass. This means that they can go all the way through certain areas without having to kill a boss or whatnot and get the item with virtually no work at all. Prime example is Zanitos. They can go straight through!

Flaw two: Also involving ignoring killing monsters to pass. They can get out of certain traps with monsters in them, or squares they aren't meant to get out of. The monsters in these squares will then follow the Pacifists out and be able to roam freely through the realms. I saw the Vinewhip Troll running loos yesterday and Zephie had to come kill it. I saw it running loose again today, as well, due to a Pacifist dragging it out.

Please, fix these as soon as possible! Otherwise Pacifists will be used as tools of unfair play!

First one isn't a problem, how are they supposed to get past a monster without killing it? I thought the whole point of this class was to be able to survive on its own, how are they supposed to do that if they can't pass monsters?

lol you know like going to dg you have to kill 5 or 6 demonics first before you can go there. why would a pacifist be able to pass them withouth having to kill them while other classes can only pass after they are killed?

Not sure if this was mentioned any where, after you use Recall it doesnt tell you that you have moved. Has this been fixed?

showed me my deity took me somewhere

but for the first bug it's good as it is cuz otherwise pacifists would for example never be able to reach desert and some other areas.

second bug i talkied to jlh he said:

JLH:
the vinewhip troll has a 40% chance to follow, it should be 0

so guess he'll fix that soon too :D

That's pretty much the only area they can get through.. How the hell would a pacifist kill a granite beast? It wouldnt.. therefore there needs to be some way for them to pass.

While my pacifist can still walk past Zanitos, I get stopped by Mutant Maggots in the sewer drain.  Is this intentional?

for releasing the tortured essence of the Skeleton, your Deity grants you 0 hp.


Has happened 10-20 times when i was killin monsters... and I DIDNT have full mana.

I have also seen this happen.  It occurs when I have full hp but do not have full mana.  I'm guessing that the code that provides the bonus first randomly determines whether HP or MP will be restored, selects a random amount of HP/MP to restore, and then checks against the character's maximum HP/MP.  Perhaps the code could be altered to always restore mana when the pacifist has full HP and vice-versa.

Right I meant hp... lol.

But yes i just had it occur where I had full hp but not full mana and it insists on giving me hp.... Shouldnt your diety know what you need?

You've prolly leveled up though. I think they changed it so when you level up you also refresh yourself.

Also, on Pacifist Update thread it JLH said.

For every 10 gold you tribute to your deity, you get 1 hp and 1 mp restored.

When you tribute gold it only gives you MP, not HP.

I dunno if this is a bug but i know 2 pacifists that are in a clan, i had one in a clan till i reset it

Is it a bug that they do not have to kill Zanitos to get to the SoF cause some people were giving chase a lot of crap about that in game.

Apparently walking through an area and picking up the reward for defeating a boss without actually defeating it is 'not' a bug if you're a pacifist..

Regardless of whether or not it's a bug it's still unfair as you are being rewarded for doing absolutely nothing..so this hopefully will change soon.

lol chase did get the SoF btw  :) there is no way for a pacifist to get one otherwise..and technically if you're a pacifist you wouldnt be able to get one any other way except site, no ability to get one in game w/o having a friend hand one over cause you cannot log alts on and stuff...i c why it'd be unfair...but really..the other person there complaining about the "bug" had just done the same thing..had they not?

What do you mean..?! I know tons of people who love it. Ever since they came in.. I've been on my Pacifist more than my main crit. This class is just challenging is all.

Have you been to the area? You'll see it's nothing like that.
