I remember when Attribute Points were getting planned, fighters were going to be able to train a small healing spell. It would cost 1 mana and heal some amount I forgot. Pretty low though. oh, also training it made your hp go like 10 lower or something *shrug* i forgot it was a long time ago. |

Post by -Gaddy- on 07/17/03 at 17:16:42 I've gotta bump this...cause on the topic of mana having been down You have increased to level 25, gained 11 hp and gained 10 mana points. Same dwarf cleric that before the bug had a max gain of 9s (only got 9s for that matter..no 8s or 10s)....hp bug also wouldn't let me get that 11..this was def. a perfect gain for him ;D i dunno that this means that there was a mana bug also...i guess 10 mana gain could just be..very very rare...i knew it seemed odd to me that they could only get 9s though. |

Heh not that im complaining ^.~ but before all these bugs elves got 9mp, halfings 8mp, and i think humans 8/9mp... Also during the bug elf druids got 8mp... i believe halfings still got their 8mp and I am unsure of humans... (Obviously all the mp I am certain of that is screwed is druids... perhaps others can enlighten us on any problems in other classes...) |

Whats being said is that during the bug, when people would level their characters the mp gain was unusually low. Like now how people are gaining 10-11 mps on theirs druids and clerics. During the bug if you got a max of 9 mp you were lucky. It seems like during the bug you got -2 mp per level up compared to what you usually gained. |

This applies to druids only as far as I know of. And these mp gains are for druids w/perfect wis for the race... Before Bug: Elves- 9mp Halfings- 8mp Humans- 8mp During Bug: Elves- 8mp Halfings- 8mp? Humans- 8mp? Currently: Elves- 10mp Halfings- 10mp Humans- 10mp Edit: Now call me crazy but it doesn't exactly make sense to me that Elves with 20wis, Halflings with 18wis, and Humans with 19wis would all get the same mp gains... |

Why all the sudden do these races get all the same mana gains from being completely different? I would also like to point out that as it stands, my Druid is short 42 MP in consideration of these new gains. That there is a considerable amount. I urge JLH and Pandilex to reconsider the mana gains of the races according to wisdom. |

Post by Mip on 07/29/03 at 00:54:55 nobody has yet mentioned mages :'( my mage has gotten 11 or 12 mp every level from around lvl 5-26 and 7 hp every level so far... its stats are 16 (21 19 18 20) 17 :( my friend's mage who's stats are 15 (21 19 18 20) 18 has been getting 8 hp and 13-14 mp every level so far (level 18.) ...and i'm not sure if it's a bugs fault or if i'm just EXTREMELY unlucky |

Post by -Gaddy- on 07/29/03 at 11:46:25 My dwarf cleric could only get 9 mp (lvl 1-24 during bug), its hp was fixed, but its mana is now going 10 per lvl, on 25 and 26 it got 10 mana, it cannot get 300 mana+ even with 10s for the rest of its lvls and 20 at arch, but other dwarf clerics have 325+ mana, if mana doesnt change very much, why do they avg. 1 mana more per lvl than my 5 stat (12 int) dwarf cleric that was lvled mostly during the bug? I think it is pretty obvious that the bug made mana lower (all mana). |

Not to mention that 95% of crits are getting screwed over because of this. I've spent a lot of time leveling my crits. Now I find out that everything is getting better HP and MP. Now my crits are lacking by around 20 HP and 40 MP. Ridiculous... |
