ok i was beeing afk in arilin bank and i saw this happen:

Hellscream: whose the witness?
Hellscream looked you over.
Biolix: U still want this crit back?
Hellscream: u wanna give me back?!

Kazuki just arrived from the South.

Biolix points at Kazuki.

Ooptey just arrived from the South.

apparently the deal was:

Hellscream: the deal is Devestate for biolix,domenica and pitchblack
Hellscream: and i received domenica
Hellscream: only left pitchblack and biolix

can't confirm this cuz it wasn't my deal but looks like someone wasn't trading fair :D

edit: Domenica Pages You from (Hidden): oh ya one more thing he say this cleric is level 22 but i found out to be level 19 only!

yeah i know, i'm just posting this for other ppl to read so they know they can't really trust this person and should allways ask staff when dealing with him :D

(i dealed with fallen_one withouth staff just a few minds before adn it went fine :D just need to know who you can trust :D)

I just don't understand how people still trade without staff present, after there have been way too many rip offs lately. As much as all the staffers have posted lately to NOT do trades without them present, it makes me wonder how ignorant people can be.

All I can say is, if you get ripped off during a trade without staff present now, don't come posting on the forum afterwards how staff won't help you and how they don't care. You have been warned more than enough times.

yeah he told me his sis was on his crit but i'm wondering how will we know when he's using the crit or his sis?

All good and well people but the fact of the matter is that the trade happened, no staff were there and people got ripped off. And as for staff never being available............. i find that hard since every time ive shouted for a staffer on has arrived which leads me to think one of two things...... you have annoyed staff and got a reputation for bugging staff "Cry wolf" syndrome therefore kicks in, or a rarety that no staff was online..... not usually the case, even Pandilex (who doesnt take to kindly to me) appears if i shout for a trade. So it just shows if you treat staff with respect and do not bug people you get rewarded with the level of service required.

I leave you with this thought.......... your mums at work, shes busy doing paperwork, would you go in and bug her while she is working unless it was an emergancy? would she be less likely to help out if that was the 25th time that day you had been in to see her? just my two cents........

Apparently they use two different pc's so the pc number or sommats? She was using kazuki on her PC.

It does happen occasionally (dependig on what time of the day you are on) that no staffer will be present, or simply that they are working on an important piece of the game and won't respond to a yell immediately, and that is what thieves depend on most. By doing a trade without staff if they don't show up right away you are supporting thieves, because they can see that they still get away with theft due to the impatience of traders.

Someone who doesn't want to rip you off, should be very well willing to wait until a staffer can be located, because they take the chance of being ripped off in the trade as well. Here's a hint: If the person you are trading with is pushing to proceed the trade even if no staff can be found, it's likely you are dealing with a thief (not saying it always is, but chances are pretty good). People who are looking for a fair trade should be willing to wait until a staff member can be located.

If i enter a trade without staff, I always type /save, and then i let them know i did that. This saves all info to your nightmist directory and is very good proof of everything. I have never had to use one, and I trade all the time without staff and have yet to be ripped off.

1: If you yell for staff, still check to see if they are uncloaked. If they are, page them. I've noticed when I've been uncloaked that someone would yell for staff and once out of interest I just sat there and they never paged me so a member of staff that had yells off would not have known.

2: /save is not sufficient evidence of a theft as it is ever so simple to edit to your advantage.

I've done trades many times before with no staff present and never got ripped off, who do you people keep trading with that you get ripped off? Sure now I will wait for staff, but normally if I'm trading its with the decent ppl in the game.
