Ventured out to the desert earlier and noticed that alot of the monsters out there were dropping like 20-40gold and it gets reallly annoying, im just posting to tell the people that do this that the exp for that isnt really that good and...dont its annoying

lol they will do it anyway, and i don't think they do it for the exp. :P .... it does get annoying however...

Well this should help:

Sand Spiders and scorpions are reknown for not washing their hands after doing poopies and pee-pees, so by blatantly stealing from them, it is very likely you will not have a chance to wash your hands before the next time you eat and therefor will be eating Sand Spider and Scorpion Poopies/Pee-pee.

When one of these creatures is slain, thier blood has a disinfectant effect on the cash, and thus is safe to loot.

epic, i know you're smart enough to do this. so just for the folks who somehow haven't figured it out.

monsters respawn pretty quick. try revisiting sand spiders you've already killed. you may miss out on a few K to begin with but you get normal gold back after awhile.

plus, after the initial stealing that happens after an update, if people training stick to sections then thieves won't comb the desert quite so often. it used to be that only about 12 desert creatures ever got killed and thieves lookin' to make a profit never looked to far beyond updates because no one bothered to much past the area around town. it was seldom worthwhile enough to venture that far for a buck.

yeah i used to also, but laziness took over. although since it's less safe you come across more extremely rich sand spiders.
