Title: Worst case of lag Post by Alicia on 05/15/03 at 23:28:38 Post your worst cases of lag here... Heres mine: I was fighting a coupla days ago against some illuminati. I went to the far south of nm southgate, then pressed f1 (macro for righteous). Nothing. I'd completely lagged up. No enemys, coudnt talk, the small snake on the square wasnt even attacking. I tried hitting all the attack and move macros on my crits, still nothing. Then about 20 screens full of text scrolled down each crit, 3 of them were in the tusk and 2 in the tutorial sector. I typed /scroll and tried to dechiper what had happened. The illuminati had indeed arrived, about 8 of them, all spelled up and with their fingers hard down on the 'attack my berserker' macro, and after 2 assassinates and a round of rapid, she dropped. They then killed my cleric fighter and ranger. My thief then assassinated one of their clerics, only to be cut down. Back in the tusk two of my crits then went north into the tut sector (i was trying to run from the fight coz i coudnt do anything else) My cleric then casted Righteous Fury |

Title: Re: Worst case of lag Post by dognapot on 05/15/03 at 23:44:13 i was in triplex once and everything froze up. i thought nightmist froze but i ping'd the server 3 times just make for certain. then the lag let up, there wasn't 5 screens of attacking or anything because this happened to everyone i think but aside some party chat and lag-monster wrestling i also got my pings back and they were all for over 15 seconds. i'm surprised we all didn't time out. |

Title: Re: Worst case of lag Post by Zephie on 05/16/03 at 00:06:51 @ general about 20 different users attacking the general each with about 5/6 crits casting righteous and enhance spells. i got there at slightly and by the time my crits either dc'ed or finally caught up with the time the general was mort. |

Title: Re: Worst case of lag Post by Azrael on 05/16/03 at 03:50:44 Along time ago I got a key to Lag monster, so we schedualed a TR lag monster fight, I forget how many of us went but it was alot, and all I remember is Jen getting a crit D/Ced on very square so she had to come alone a few minutes later. |

I went to attack people and it didn't show that I was hitting anyone.. a few minutes later I see my hp going down.. I tried drinking pots but was too late... next thing I knew I was sent back to where I was before I had joined the mosh. Just last night I went on a pk'ing venge.. or tried to.. but, everytime we'd move (leader was going pretty fast) my 2 crits would end up disconnecting.. causing me to get frustrated.. and logging off the one. This also happened when a bunch of different people and I ended up going to the Captain. I had to tell the leader of the party to go extremely slow on the way there and watch for my crits to log. |
