so here i am rolling away a nice dwarf fighter, when all of a sudden i get 21 18 18 16 18 16.  sometimes it can really take the piss.  other times ill roll 5 perfect stats for a mage except wis will be 12 or something.  or ill roll a ranger and everything will be perfect except dex which is usually 8 or 6.

post all your bad rolling experiences here!

Was looking to roll the 6 stat halfling we all dream of. After a while I see red! 5 of them! Only 1 stat is really really low, 7 to be precise... and that one stupid 7 had to be con... I almost cried when I hit reroll...

anywayz....here we are again, rolling the dwarf fighter and there it is.....

21 16 7 21 18 17....so i hit re-roll..... 10 minutes later....

I was rolling Leafstorm (a lot of months ago) and it took me 1:30/2 hours to get those (and they aren't that good, sold him). After getting 18 21 19 18 10 21, I almost gave up.

The roller is really discouraging, you get some good ones, and some bad ones.
But it's made to throw out random numbers.
What fun would it be if everybody had 21 x 18 21 18 17 dwarves?

I've had good with bad.
Best rolls were a 6/6 human, dwarf with 21 xx 18 21 18 17, and a h-ling with 18 19 21 18 18 17.

worst was probably the dwarf with 21 18 18 14 18 17

hmmm.....i also hate the stupid maths question that pop-ups... not because im stupid and dont know the sums  lol, its just irritating when it pops up, and you've JUST rolled a 5 stat dwarf, and then you accidently get the question wrong....dam did that make me mad...I DEMAND REMOVAL OF THAT DAM THING!!!

Dude, that isnt possible u cant roll a 5 stat dwarf and then get the math question, cuz the question pops up when u hit the re-roll button  :-/

I don't like rolling crits.. I've rolled maybe 2-3 of mine.. out of a billion crits.. (hence, I only use one of those I rolled as a main) I don't have the patient to sit there all day to roll a perfect or close to perfect crit.. so, I always had someone doing the rolling for me.. :)

The roller finally likes me a little bit, the other day I rolled a 18 13 19 18 20 10 Elf and made it my new druid, I don't normally roll and finally when I did decide to roll for hours, I finally get something decent, sure the char isn't that great but I don't mind, I was originally trying to roll an elf ranger for a friend.

it was an example of the stupid annoying pop-up, maybe not a 5 stat dwarf  lol, but close enough, and it has happened once, u press re-roll but the stats stay the same wen u give the correct answer.

I posted earlier when i got 2 5-stat dwarves, one with 7 dex and one with 8, within half an hour of each other

And that the infernal thing has not rolled me anything worth training in the last 3 months (ever since i got the 21 18 18 21 18 x dwarf and the 18 x 21 18 17 17 half ling

Anyway, my position on rolling. You can get 300k in 3 hours gold training, and can buy a 5 stat at l15-20 for that. Or you can spend 2 hours rolling said crit then another 5 hours training to 20. Which takes less time???

6-stats come at around 250k. It takes way more than 3 hours to roll one of those (unless you use a 8-window setup with an auto-roller which does 15k+ rolls per hour)

As of now, there are no 6 stat elves, or Half-Orcs.
(From what I am aware of.)
If 6 stated crits costed 250k, then what's the point of rolling?

Only the most determined cheaters would be able to get around that

And even then they would have to program it to click the CORRECT answer on each question.

Which would mean It would have to do about a million other things.

Which would make a massive amount of work for an auto roller  ::)

1 day i was really tired cuz i was a newb and rolled 6hours into the night,and got 8 4stat dwarves(withch a sold for 600k in all).I put the mouse pad on the enter button and waited for an hour just to see wut id pass and finally it hit a six stat poped up and i passed it bad...even as a noob i almost cried  :'(

Ooo sorry ive never rolled a 6-stat... that was just a (bad) guess at its value.

I usually roll with 4 windows, one in each corner, alternate clicking on the reroll between them, its a bit slower that one window but you wont roll past that 5-stat roll when ur tired coz you get more chance to notice it. And you get less math.

And to whoever said it, no i dont use 'auto rollers', in fact i dont roll much at all lately. What i was saying is someone could open eight night mist windows, and write something that opens each window in turn, checks for a decent roll, if not roll again and move on, if so click accept. With 8 windows you woulnt come across the math for a coupla hours (guess)

Now ive said this im waiting for someone to come up with a monster roller that handles 50 night mist windows and can be left on over a weekend before the math comes around...

Oh and they leave said program running on all 50 terminals at thier school... although nowadays schools tend to employ IT staff, when i was at school whoever knew most about computers was recognised as been in charge of them...

lol auto rollers are still usable :D just need to figure out how :D it all comes down to reading pixel colours :D

anyway just before you think i use one (the one i had stil ldoeesn't work proper and i don't feel like making a new one)

i don't use one otherwise i would even have crits with good stats :D

I hate to bring an old topic back up but this is worth mentioning.

4 YEAR OLD BEATS ROLLER

I was sitting at the southgates tonight around spawn time when my 4 year old Lexie came in and sat on my lap. She asked to help me play so I said sure why not I wasn`t doing anything but rolling an elf.
So I said,"Just hit the button(enter) til you get 4 reds". She looked up at me and said, "4, like me that's how old I am".
She didn`t even have to click 10 times before she rolled a 18 17 19 18 20 21. Talk about a blow to the rollers ego...lol

whats ever worse is when you keep on getting 18 19 20- 18 18 19 and then you finaly get a usefull roll and your rolling so fast you miss it =(
