Title: Re: Hmmm Post by Eternyte on 05/09/03 at 16:21:52 It's not a monster, it's an examine. In the swamp there is a hidden place called the 'Petrified Forest'. If you roam around this area you should come accross the 'Jagged Branch'. If you /read, the carvings on said branch, then follow the insructions on this too the 'Jagged Tree'. When you arrive at the tree, you have to attack it. Unfortunately while your attacking the tree, the being that live in the tree try to defend their home. Which you also have to kill. Once the 'Jagged Tree' has been cut down as it were, by depleating it of hit points. You then progress to type /examine, you should then get the message "You seach around the broken roots of the tree, you notice a shiny edge. You have found a Jagged Lane". Then the Jagged Lance should be in your inventory, and you have completed the task. I hope this helps you out somewhat, although if you posted this on 'Help Forum'. You might get a little more accurate answer. |
