can ne 1 help me out im wondering wat is the best race and class for a beginer like meself Athough i nvr used to be a beginner i used to be very good but now everything has changed and its messed with my head

hmm i suggest if you want to lvl fast and want to get to know the game a little you hould use a dwarf berserker/ fighter or a halfling fighter.

they are the easiest to train imo.

If you're first starting out into the game.. I'd suggest you'd start out as some kind of fighter. You want to get as many red numbers as possible to whichever race you pick. Oh, be sure to know your basic Math as well.. :)

Depends on your preferences. If you like spellcasters get a cleric. If you like fighters, choose a fighter. Best cleric race is elf, best fighter race is dwarf / halfling.

Dwarfs make the best clerics, be sure to make one of those.

Dwarves are not the best clerics... They have more hp and hit for more, but have a lot less mana and heal for less. Less magic resistance. As long as a cleric has mana, he will most likely survive.

Hah!

Human Cleric: 290 hp, 318 mp.
Gnome Cleric: 278 hp, 321 mp.
Elven Cleric: 263 hp, 346 mp.(JLH spoke to me and said it seems impossible with 20 wisdom)
Dwarf Cleric: 317 hp, 303 mp.
Dwarf Cleric Two: Little less hp, about 20+ mana.
So it will be about: 310hp, 320mp.

Dwarf is proven the best there, my Cleric is the elven one and also the Human one.

Why did JLH say it seemed impossible with 20 wis? Was it too high or too low?

You know there are halfling clerics with 21 dex and +7 ac i think they are by far the best

i'm going for elf clerics but it all depends on what you want :d

if you just want your cleric to heal get high wis if you want him to fight too, get a dwarf :D

Roll halflings! :D

if u roll 18 x 21 18 18 19, then turn him into a ranger...

if u roll 18 x 21 18 18 x, then turn him into a fighter/thief...

if u roll 18 x 21 18 x x, then turn him into a thief...

if u roll x x 21 18 18 x, then turn him into a cleric...

i dunno... that's what i do with my halfling rolls ;D

on the other hand, if you get 18 19 21 18 18 19, ewwww... PM, and i'll help you get rid of that sucky stated crit... (i'll pm you my account name) ;D won't even charge you for it ;)
