Title: Corrupt staff Post by Black_Magic on 04/20/03 at 10:29:29 Hello, It's me again.... haven't heard from me in a while I know and you have probably missed me... this thread is probably going to get deleted because the staff in question doesn't want you to know how F****d up she is. But here is the story.... I was in the rose garden. just sitting there training my crits. When suddenly I was attacked. It came out of nowhere. I was dead so fast I could barely see who got me. As I fell to the ground injured and nearly dead I managed to see who attacked me. And can you guess who it was? If you guessed jen you are right! I thought it was weird how she managed to know what characters I was on and where I had them at because she came into the square attacking... But I just disregarded it as a coincidence or even a natural sense of precognition. So... I decided I would change where I was training and go to the desert instead. Halfway there I got disconnected..... I reconnected and the second I logged on jen had killed my partners crits and then proceeded to kill mine... now... it could jus be a figment of my imagination. But it seemed like she knew exactly where I was at all times. And who else would know that but a staff member? I memoed jlh about the incident and I am probably going to be banned for my bad language but I need to be heard if any of you have any opinion on this incident please let me know. Maybe im jus imagining this whole thing I don't know...... I just am trying to make the game a more equal enjoyable game without having to worry about tyrannical staff attacking us. |

There are 148 characters online, (66 users). on.. lol I didn't get seen by anyone and the guy im training with is level 24 with no other alts there is no way he can be a spy. Furthermore jen I hardly ever go to the desert. and do u jus run around holding the macro to attack me? Im going to have jlh look into it I know he won't do nothin about it but... eh.. what the hell well this is probably going to be my last post lol im probably going to be banned from the forums but... yeah people just look out and watch your backs.... most of the sysops are in tr so whats stopping them from protecting eachother and helping eachother out when they need it? |

If you recall I paged you from Momba to Donut asking if you were playing nice tonight. Only moments before that page I walked into the gardeners square invisible. It's common when I goto the rg to send a crit in covert to check it out first cause like you I hate a pk. In this case I had Pure_Energy with me asd cast invisibilty on my whole party. When I didn`t get a response to my page I assumed you didn`t want to play nice. So as a common practice with TR I cut and pasted the info from the square you where on when I entered the Gardeners Shack. Although Dank who was on Megadeth at the time was the only one who responded. Jen later after getting finished killing the boss her and Chris where on came to check it out. Again this is common for Jen to do. Usually when you see several of her crits logged she is killing a boss or pking. Nothing new, happens all the time. Just so happens that tonight was not your lucky night... |

I hate pking.... anyways I understand the rg thing because Im always in the rg but the fact that she walked right to me when I was headed to the desert is just too weird for me... there is no reason for her to go running to the desert and be waiting on the square I got disced on for me to come back |

I got pk'd by TR today too... (nice job Sparkz!) ... I don't whine, I don't accuse of cheating, I cope with it. NM is a game where you kill and get killed. I laugh about it and if a person did a good job, I congratulate them. It's a game people, and if you don't like the way it works, there's always one simple resolution to all your problems: Don't play anymore! And for crying out loud, if you think you have to post here, at least be kind enough to not run all over NM telling people to "Read this, it's important! ~link to thread~" |

Title: Re: Corrupt staff Post by dognapot on 04/20/03 at 11:37:29 well, you got d/c there's no staff command that teleports you to the location of characters who aren't online. forty-five seconds is not near reality as i remember, you forget that you got disconnected and that took time also. the way i see it is you got killed and it was hilarious. there wasn't any possible way for her to use zephie to cheat, for chrissake zephia wasn't even on i think. for her 'finding' you, i think you just got unlucky. there's no way i can think of for staffers to locate people who don't have a location. |

Title: Re: Corrupt staff Post by Zekhia on 04/20/03 at 11:51:42 Dude, like i said i was leading her party with velius because i was casting invisibility on her crits....we went to the normal spots where ppl are loaded with gold...first we checked Rg and you were there...because momba i believe told jen and she had already set macros on you...and after that u were already on her macros...we then went to the clan sauna spelled up..casted invisibility and then healed...then i was heading towards the orcs which is another place where ppl go to make gold...and we seen u while i was going by invis...so we stopped and she popped u...she did not use her staff crit...you can even have JLH verify it...for god sakes just get over it...ppl get pked all the time. |

Title: Re: Corrupt staff Post by dognapot on 04/20/03 at 11:56:46 why would she need her staff crit to accomplish that? you just said she could have been running up and down the path looking for you. that means something buck-o 1. she had enough time to get there 2. she didn't need her staff crit to find you before you seemed quite adamant that she had no time and magically appeared at the point where you logged off. now it seems like you are saying she had enough time to get there and sweep through the area looking for you. now lets look at some things that are more possible. 1. someone saw you go down the path and that prompted the search. 2. jen deduced that since she did not see you coming back to the rose garden on her way out, and that since you had not gone south of NM (because the gatesitters would have noticed) that you must have left to the north leaving only a few possibilities: you must be in the forest, arilin, the barracks, the path, the harabec area, or the desert. the desert and the paths leading to it are rather connected and since she was hot on your trail all she'd have to do was check to see if the granite beasts had been disturbed to know whether you had made it to the desert. so it's most likely that someone saw you on thier way to or from the ancient tunnel and jen just happened to luck out. now you can't say that's not possible. |

Title: Re: Corrupt staff Post by dognapot on 04/20/03 at 12:17:29 why would her being staff have anything to do with it? i'm pretty sure that staff don't have the ability to locate people who don't have locations (offline people) so where exactly is the cheating? you say that she would have to cheat to be on the exact square that you logged at but there's just no way to cheat for that effect. everything else is perfectly reasonable and explained. the only thing that you can barely be suspicious about is that logging coincidence, but if you just logged at a random time and a random place then it is merely coincidence. so just as it looked when you first started this moronic thread, you have nothing. |

She is bound to be killing many many people, accept it. She isn't stupid enough to risk cheating and losing Zephie when she dosent need to cause she can kill so many anyway. |

Title: Re: Corrupt staff Post by dognapot on 04/20/03 at 12:48:24 perhaps if you could say where you logged off because there are spots on that path which serve to bottleneck traffic there and are invaluable for pking people you don't have a positive fix on. if you had logged off on one of those spots it would make alot of sense. as for jen locating you seconds before you logged that still doesn't give her a more positive fix on your location that's any better than someone saying "i saw him go this way" and therefore would not even be usefull to do so. jen doesn't cheat, and in this scenario, would have no reason to cheat in order to kill you. i hope jlh doesn't have to waste his time on this kind of tripe because all you present is the possibility but in all reality it is highly improbable that even a real cheater would have to do what you suggest has been done. |

Many take mages or thieves with them and they DO check. I'm sorry to inform you, but they happen to know how to pk and how to pk well. If clannies happen to be in the area of that, they'll come, they'll get you, and you'll complain. Thats how it is. Its a big clan, with strong players. What else can you expect? Also, Jen is contributing more as staff than half of you people complaining know. As former staff I know in its entirety what jen has completed as staff. Shes done much much more than I ever would've done as staff. She's doing her best to please all of you and you just continue to whine! LEAVE HER ALONE. God... Its a pathetic attempt to ruin the game for her. She pks you, she happens to be staff. 1+1=2 right?... WRONG!!! Now knock it off and go gain back your exp that you lost Black_Magic. >:( |

Many interactions go on outside the game via AIM, MSN and other chat programs. |

You attack Jen saying, "Oh she uses her staff crit", she is not a new person to the game that she has to stoop that low. If you are ever in our clan you see that when someone is pked 95% of the clan asks, "where?". I think people need to not let jelousy get in the way of what they do. You can all deny being jelous but if Pandilex asks, "Do you want to be staff" Not one of you would decline. Leave Jen alone, she pked me all the time before she was staff as well. I didnt flame her on the forums I sucked it up and continued to play the game that has been developed. As for the attacks on Zylia, she is a nice person if any of you ever talk to her. Saying noone cares about her is ludacris. Thats a personal opinion and not a fact, therefore you should not say that on a public forum. JLH responds to all my e-mails and questions I have asked through msn as well. It takes a while, if you havent noticed hes programming this game we all play. If he doesnt respond go ahead and leave him a memo. Thing like this shouldn't even make the forums. |

I know that a lot of things happened between you and Zylia that hurt you, and probably hurt her as well. Being friends with both of you is tough right now, because things that should be talked out between the two of you personally gets dragged out in public, and that's not how it should be. You know that I appreciate everything you have done for me in the game, but please try to get over the hurting and stop the open attacks on her, if not for your own or her sake, do it for me, because I feel awkwardly stuck in the middle. Oh, and Andy, I think I can honestly say that I am the only player who admits to being jealous of Jen...lol.. not because of her staff crit, but because of Kalypso and her other crits, dang, I wish I had those! And also I wouldn't want to be staff, even if they begged, seeing what poor Jen is going through every time she pk's. I promise, if she gets me, I'll be one of the few that won't whine about it on the forum! (not that this is an invitation to pk me or anything....lol) |
