Title: Zephie Post by Keldon68 on 04/15/03 at 03:40:39 Some people in nightmist believe i dislike Jen just because she kills me....well i dont really care as long as its dun fairly. Unfortionately, i know for a fact Jen has used her staff crit to find the location of players, and then sending clannies or her morts to kill them. I once pages her from desert before, and then like 15 minutes later she stormed in on Kalypso and Fufu and killed my crits. THis was when she first became staff...as time progressed i heard more stories of things like this happening...and i have come to be curious. I do believe Jen is a very good player, but there are some other things i think but will not say(things of which i have heard of how she got staff) Another thing that finds me stranded in curiosity is how I can be south of nm paging her, then all of a sudden she storms down and kills me. THen i go to museum days later, she comes and has me macrod killing me and my alts, leaving there i was headed for RG, and a friend of mine in TR told me that the whole clan was headin to RG.....luckily i found this out and turned back, only to head to the barrax. When i reached barrax i was there for maybe 2 minutes when Jen and chris comes running thru, having me macrod, killing my ranger(mofo). Before all of this ever happened Jen told me if she ever found me on a pk sqaure id be dead, which is strange how she's always where i am....funny...i dont find this a coincidence. Before u go jumping to conclusions, plz understand that i do respect Jen as a very good player of the game, and this iss not ment to offend anyone, but it is only something that id personally like Jonathon to look into, if he finds the time. You really should look people over who you attack, and then if their clan magically shows up at the same place you shouldn't just go about assuming that a staff member is cheating. And about barracks - Battalion saw you in barracks and I already had you on my macros from the museum :) |

I know jen would not cheat by using her staff crit.....so stop accusing her of something she didnt do |

How can you sit here and type some bs like this… For #1 jenny is one of the best NM players on the game.. For #2 she is a good staff member and does not fav. Her clan when it comes to time of work unlike some ex. Staff as you can tell just by how many clan members she has ban by braking rules of the game…. For #3. I don’t think jenny would go out of her way just to kill you unless you attacked a clanie So don’t flatter your self. Or are you quitting because you believe nothing will be done? You should email JLH or Pandilex with all the complaints you stated above so they can look into it. This ''wutever im outtie'' line has been given by more players than this one, it's old, and should be taken with less than a grain of salt. Jen has thus far done everything she can to stay a fair and well mannered staff. I am yet to see her use favortism of her clannies or friends, nor have I witnessed or heard anything about her using her staff crit, or abilities/powers of staff against other people on this game. JLH seems to keep a good eye on who is doing what, and what staff aren't doing their jobs, as you can clearly tell by the staff who have been removed or asked to leave. Leave the dicision of who is doing their job or not, and who is abusing thier priviledges up to JLH. Word to the wise there kiddo, when you point a finger, you have four more pointing back at you. ;) |

If she's smart enough.. she won't do anything to jeopardize her position as staff. To whomever said for us not to worry about it.. if you were in the person who was complaining shoes.. what would you do..?! These staffers are here for US.. for them to contribute to the game and make it more exciting and what not.. we have a right to wonder/worry about if the staffers doing their job the correct way or not. Without players/staff there'd be no game. I'm also sick of you people claiming we're jealous of you.. when we have something to say. We have the right to express our opinions as long as we're not offending anyone. Maybe you people just have some big egos. You people who complain about staff are just going to get flammed.. so, just do as they say..and e-mail Pandi or JLH. It'd make things a lot easier. |

His reasons for posting this are valid as far as I can see. Also, the biggest reason people post things like this is so the community of Nightmist can see what is happening or how the person feels. If a horrible staff issue is settled through an email to JLH, the rest of the world doesn't know. I also know how this guy feels. I have had problems with staff members, I posted on the forums, people called me dumb, jealous and other things. But the fact is, once it happens to them, they go and do the same thing. Also, emails to some staff members seem to go unnoticed sometimes. Not sure what's up with that but _all_ emails from players should be read and responded to. |

Shes always been known for being good at pking, even before staff. If you think she needs a staff crit to find you, your wrong. Today i was with her when this all happened...i was even leading the party...we had no intention of killing you 3/4 times today....it was our clannies that kept spotting u and saying they were being attacked...You were on macros from the museum the first time we killed you and therefore u remained on our macros. Then troy/Battalion said that you were in barracks...so we went there because we were in clan house. The rg part i dont know what your talking about because we did not make a trip to the RG...except to go kill atrium and we did not see you anyways. Why do you people have to make a big deal about being killed in a game. You have no reason to quit the game over this. If you choose to do so then good luck in life and i hope you dont act like this in real life because i feel sorry for you. Peace. |

So I take you are suggesting JLH give up school so he may better answer your problems with staff? Doesn't sound quite fair to me. And as for him having a good point 1. He agreed that Zep was right when she explained that clannies found him running,not her, and 2. even if he had paged her, if he didn't have toggle loc on thats his own fault. As far as I am concerned a page should only contain what you are willing the public to see. If you don't want them to know where you are at, then type /toggleloc. |

Also Tadpole, its not always Zephie, but for the most part it is. The players who post things on the forums have reasons for posting them and they believe it is right. Its ok to believe in something you feel is right. |

Granted, there may be mistakes that some staffers make every now and then, but that's because they are human too. So far I haven't seen Jen abuse her staff crit once... and given my publicly displayed despise of TR, I would have died a lot more if she had, don't you think? On the contrary... I think Jen is even harder on her own clannies when it comes to her staff crit (just check all TR members for staff comments put there by her) to avoid those accusations, yet she can't seem to do anything right in some people's eyes. Personally I admire Jen for all the work she puts into the game, I admit to being jealous of Kalypso because I want a crit like that, and I'm glad she has such a high bashing tolerance as Zephie, because if I was accused of abusing my staff crit as often as she is - that is, if I had one ;) - I probably would have quit staffing by now to enjoy pking others to it's fullest without the accusations. I would so love for JLH to actually check into this one, just to post proof that Jen did NOT abuse her staff crit to locate you, because I highly doubt she did... and that would make you look foolish, wouldn't it? Now if everyone who quits playing NM over getting pk'd by TR quit, there would be no game anymore... do I like getting "Tadpoled"? nope, but I cope.... and wait for the day I'm a high enough lvl to give him, Kalypso and the other TR members a good fight back. |
