Title: April Fools.. Post by King o Sausage on 04/01/03 at 02:22:10 Just want to let staff know that their little April Fools joke (let everyone run around for the BoS then let them know that it's not out there..). I have to say that I was running around for a while. But it definetly loosened up the Nightmist atmosphere for me. |

This joke caused an unprecedented amount of lag and some people tried to ruin it, had it been an actual quest, by using this as a means to mass pk. Not only was this not fun, it caused alot more dislike for Pandilex than there already is. Unfortunately, a real quest would have been enjoyed and complimented, but as far as I can see, this has just lead to more anger :(. A lesser joke would have been alright, but this was blown out of proportion. |

Post by Momba on 04/01/03 at 02:41:28 Loosened up the environment...The lag sucked so bad it took 5 minutes to get from NM to Arilin...you call that loose...then spend over an hour looking for something that wasn`t there....call me stupid but I think it was a total was of time...would been nice to have the Pentathalon that is scheduled for the 1st Monday of each month.... But concidering all thing it's nice to see staff back to the old ways...having some fricken fun for a change.... |

First off, I don't think Pandilex, JLH, or any other involved staff or players intended the ''april fools'' joke just for their own kicks, to make anyone upset, or to add more to the disruptions caused by the events in the last few days. It was a joke, nothing more, nothing less. I think if anything, they were trying to have fun with the players ( and it was fun ) more than anything. So what, there was no BoS, and no real monster, you didn't lose anything, there was no money put into it. Other than the lag, I see nothing to complain about. April Fools is to play jokes on people for fun, and they did a d**n good job. The End. |
