Ive checked this many times, after this ive always rolled 20,xx,18,21,18,xx I dont know any crits like that with low hp. JLH says its not in the code, if so, Why does it happen? |

Post by Apogee on 03/22/03 at 23:02:26 i have to thiefs like that one being 21 xx 18 20 18 xx and @ lvl 27 had 277hp my other thief was 21 xx 18 21 18 xx and had 277 hp @ lvl 28 when they lvled again my lvl 28 dwarf with the 21 con got 9 hp taking it to 286 hp @ lvl 29 my lvl 27 dwarf then lvled to lvl 28 and got 10 hp giving him 287 hp @ lvl 28 so with 20 con has already got 11 hp more then the one with 21 con strange i know but i always wondered about the hp gain like that |

Post by Mammon on 03/22/03 at 23:58:05 I have also noticed this, non-perfect crits always appear to get more hp, JLH tells me that it has nothing to do with it, but almost everyone seems to get better hp with non-perfect characters. :-/ Maybe there is some reason for this, I don't know, but it certainly is odd. |

Post by dognapot on 03/23/03 at 19:50:18 it's just incredibly random... i've had my baby crits start out with 20 hp and only 18 con but it goes downhill from there. sort of annoying but on the other hand if it were less random we'd have more identical crits running around and i don't really like that either. |
