You've heard the legends, the stories are told far and wide. The myths are celebrated by every former member. We're back, the Best of the Elite are coming together again.

We are going to be a clan that is not interested in clan ranking at all.

BoD was a while after reset. Some of the post-reset clans are older than BoD.. Dissension, NightSKYS, NBM etc..

I wasnt around prereset but about a month after, but i'm still pretty sure BoD is just a post reset clan.

Bod has now joined forces, and merged with the Deadly Alliance.

We'll be growing extremely quickly from now on, and with that joining restrictions will probably become harsher (currently 1 lvl 30 is required) so get joining quickly, by speaking to the founders.

Will was an original founder of the first BoD.

I was pretty impressed with the first 10 members or so. Thinking to myself that these are some of the old greats of NM. The ones who I feared and looked up to as a n00b. With the exception of a handful in the clan it appears to be very simular to the aviators...

The clans are merging. Alot of the members now under BoD tags are and have been friends. So what does it matter if some feel "prestigue" was lost. I'm sure quite a few would disagree. If anything it's getting better.

Yeh well, with all the drama and disorder DA is bringing to BoD somethings gonna happen be it people being booted or people disbanding..i give it a month tops before a small ammt of people get booted and/or leave..(nothin at you ste or the other few members that were in there before the GREAT merge)

He didn't say that, anyways by just merging and without selecting player by player. There will prolly be a lot of booting and disbanding in the next couple of weeks.

And besides if you don't think Dennis and Alex are a big loss, then how big do you think you are?

It isn't possible for this bod to have its former prestige and glory.  Ste was a great leader of the clan in the past, but what BoD became occured naturally.  You cannot force something to become "great" again using this current clan as example.  If anything it would become something different.

Of course its going to be different, we knew that when we (re)started it. We may have alot of different members but that doesn't stop the clan being like it used to be in many other ways.

No, what at least I meant was that DA consists of 75% new, extremely annoying, wannabe great, wannabe greatest, wannabe elder players with a wannabe childish (which usually is the only thing of above mentioned that they succeed in) attitude.

Simply players that aren't worthy of being in a clan such as BoD.

I'm just wondering when the aviators and Avengers of the Lost are gonna join up.

With much respect to the few great players, it just seems as BoD is just worrying about quantity not quality. When I first started, BoD was the most amazing clan that everyone feared. Now its just a large clan with alot of extra useless players.  :-/

Yeah, I do agree that BoD was the most feared clan when I started as well. When I heard about the merging, I was like.. "Omg, what in the blue hell are they doing..?!" Bringing certain people from DA or anyone who causes a lot of problems in clan.. can make things hectic. We just have to weed through the bad seeds as mentioned above. You're going to have a little drama though, not everyone appears to get along with everyone.. you just got to try your best to get along with them.. we all have our moments.

When I first joined.. back in the days.. I left the clan because I felt left out. I was debating on joining again.. because we all know good and well.. not being in a good sized clan/clanless.. you feel left out anyways, so .. I ended up joining them again. Not to mention it feels all weird/different being in a clan that once upon a time pwned you every chance that they could. It's nice though, I actually have people I know in this clan and won't feel as stupid.. when trying to act myself.

Sure these aren't all the original players... nor may they be the best players... although some.. like the majority of you claim to be. (I will tell you myself that I am by far the biggest newb on NM)

Ya'll need to realize some day... this is a GAME.. and is supposed to be all about having fun... not who pwns who... or who's the best player. I haven't really trained for almost a year.. because you have people striving to be the best and ruining it for everyone else.

A suggestion to the founders: Try to keep things at least semi-serious in the clan. Have fun, but don't let things become ridiculous. Same goes for clan house. Please leave out sexual and/or inappropriate items in the kitchen.

I agree with you CPG.

To everyone else, like many others have said BoD will never be what it once was. We may try to come close but the amount of legends that were in that clan in the beginning will never be matched again.

BoD has strict rules, I'm tired of clan chat being filled with Drama and BS. That type of thing is not allowed in BoD.

We are still in the Chaos of inviting Animosity/DA people in the clan, but after everything is settled we will be setting up the founders, leaders and 'weeding' out those people that do not fit in BoD.

To all members: We have 25 squares now, We will soon be moved to Windia. Please keep all clan chat semi-clean and be mature.

I am quite supprised at the comments we are receiving. Originally it was the plan to invite just friends, and possible old members of BoD. Who could handle themselves.

As for saying we're looking for quantity inplace of quality. Perhaps you should assess your own situations. Nothing against TR or any of the other clans, but everyone has newb players, but at sometime the newb players with mature and develop to great or well known players (I remember Jen/Kalypso as a newb).

Also along the lines to us inviting quantity instead of quality, I would ugre you to think of your own accounts. Do you walk around Nightmist with 1 quality alt?....NOPE, most of you hypocrital people move around with about 10 alts. Is this using quantity instead of quality. d**n right it is.

Also, I fear that most of the posts here seem to be in jealous, or may even be in a worried tone. It's only a game, we're trying to set up a clan. We don't really care about being #1, because we know we won't get there soon, if at all.

A clan that has been created in a week, is not going to overtake a clan that has been around for 2 years.

Well I think my little rant is over, so the moral of the story. Think of a clan as your own account. When you actual use 1 quality crit, then maybe you can post, until then keep your mouths shut. Maybe even some encouragment.

Nightmist doesn't have much diversity in the means of character developement, 1 crit is BORING, you can't do enough, there is a limit to how good it can be and it's not hard to achieve(exception being questies but those are excluded), so I ask who is going to play a single alt 6 stat 4 crs aoh, this game was not made for 1 crit playing, it's obvious by how hard it is if you were to say try to train in desert with a single crit. Think of a party as 1, because one single crit can do nothing on it's own, question is, can you have a quality party? Yes, does it have to involve 10+ alts? not neccessarily.

In other words, it's impossible to play 1 alt effectively, no matter how uber powerful you might think it is, you need 3-4 crits to even stand a chance in doing most everything in the game, so the comparison you made isn't a very good one, try again.

I agree with some of the points you have raised Ashton. However, if Nightmist was not designed for 1 alt, then how come pre-reset it worked perfectly.

It is because in players quest for power and superiority they decided to log on more alts, and play the game as solo as possible. Hence why the bosses are as hard as they are now.

Pre-reset, the bosses were difficult, but possible to take on by yourself with enough mana and pots (possibly in a few runs to the shop), the more difficult monsters then we went to as parties. Say 6 people all on 1 crit each. Everyone talks about how great Pre-reset was, this is why.

I agree the classes aren't as developed now, as they once were. However, I hope in the future things can be done.

Either way it still brings us back to the point. That alts are abused.

Anyway this is about the progression of BoD. Not the games faults. If you don't like BoD, then simply don't join, don't ask to join, don't try to have spies in our clan. Just leave us get on with our personal development. However, there really is no need in the worthless comments as posted over the previous 5 pages.

All I wanted to say is that if Andy and Ste wanted to create a clan that was not like the former BoD, they should have just made a new clan, with a new name (or brought back RFBI, what a lovely name! :)). BoD is legend, and I see no point in bringing it back if the clan's not even going to stand for what BoD did/does.

And of course, as always, this is just what I think. Post as much as you want about why you think I'm wrong, just don't start insulting and act like a 14-year old. ;)

Sun shines on a dog's arse somedays...you shouldnt post that you owned someone from another clan, because there a circumstances that in some way allways give 1 party the advantage ie: you get first round, they have no stam from just attacking a monster, they are really really stoned. You assume alot about a clan that you actually know nothing about, I think thats the real funny thing here.
All the drama you speak of doesnt even exist, we've had no problems even with a merger of 3 huge clans, lots of people who were previously enemies are fine working together.

We're not posting about how we own everyone else and you must all suck for us to get to #2 so quickly (I'm not implying that here either, for the few lamers that would flame me within about 10 minutes for posting that), so why don't you just stfu and go away, your jealousy really is annoying.

Couldn't agree more Kazul, and yeh Meph is right.
I don't see why we need an 'excuse' to lose members, nor do I recall anyone ever saying 'TR is doomed'. It was never the primary intention of the clan to get ranked #1, we know that the actions of the clan will speak for themselves, you'll just have to wait awhile 'til we are done to see them.
