Title: Cremè de la Cremè Post by Epic on 06/29/03 at 05:16:04 Cremè de la Cremè = Best of the best Like i have stated in the past i created this clan just to escape all the drama that comes in every other clan thats out there, when i made the clan i didnt have expanding the clan in mind or anything like that but as the months went on people have come to me wanting to join and suggesting we up the size of the clan alittle.... All the members in the clan i have hand picked requirements being: Not being annoying, being able to take jokes thrown at you and willing to fight other clans when needed. The clan now has 133 members and 6 rooms so if you would like to join a clan thats there to back you up when you need it and you can hold your own page/memo me and we'll discuss your joining.....thx ps. No matter what problems we might of had in the past i'm always willing to get over it and make you feel at home :P |

How I play the game is listed under rules and requirements for my clan, even though I'm going to get rid of the clan, I still play nightmist by those rules just like I always have. I don't have the highest level crits of everyone, but thats because all of my crits have very nice stats. I do have a vast knowledge of the game, and have been playing since before the reset... Milagros Joppa Limit Destruction Allstar And many many more not to include the great up and comming talent in the clan. When i started the clan i wasnt worrying about getting any members i was just escaping everyone because i found clans annoying and full of drama. I slowly started recruiting people that i had known for awhile and that i liked and figured that if i knew them irl i'd prolly hang out with then. Needless to say the clan name started to get out and i think people started to respect me, my clan and clannies. I'm glad my clan has grown to be as big as it is now. I'm happy with my clannies and proud to have them in my clan. I will continue to stand up for my clan/clannies as i expect they would do for me. We are indeed a force to be reconded with so watch out for....Cremè de la Cremè. PS. i love you guys O yeh and heres the clan website comming up |

I also assumed that he caught a keylogger, but the one thing that may help him, even with the thing still on his comp, is a good firewall. It should stop any unauthorized programs from accessing the internet, hence blocking the keylogger or any trojans from sending info back to the hacker. I really hope he gets his crits back. It seems like thieves lately have been going about stealing via keyloggers more often, and I can only suggest to everyone else to be really careful when it comes to computer security. Although I know a lot of you are already aware about how to keep your comp safe, I figured it couldn't hurt to give a few tips for those who might not know: 1. Run a firewall that lets you block unknown programs from accessing the internet. (I run ZoneAlarm, a free firewall that so far has been doing an awesome job, downloadable at http://www.zonelabs.com) 2. If you use outlook or outlook express for your e-mail, make sure to scan mails for viruses before opening them. 3. Never open e-mail attachments sent by strangers, and even if sent by a friend, unless you asked for an attached file, check with your friend what the attachment is first. Many viruses automatically send themselves to everyone on the contact list, so your friend may not even know he sent you something harmful. 4. Be careful about clicking links that people give to you ingame, some websites may just contain those keyloggers or worse. Unless the URL is one you are familiar with, or you trust the person 100%, it may be wiser to just ignore it. 5. When choosing passwords, don't make it easy for guessers. It's part of human nature to choose passwords that are somehow connected with them (relative's names, pet names, birthdays, phone numbers, etc.). Just as an example, to get into my friend's husband's e-mail account took me 3 educated guesses. Make your password one that can't be connected to you, and change it periodically, just in case someone did get a hold of it anyway. Okay, enough of my geek blabbering, if I annoyed you, I apologize, but I figured these tips may help some others to avoid a similar fate as Tony's. Good luck to Tony for getting his crits back, I hope JLH does get them back for you, because this was in no way your fault. |

Alot of people i never really got along with has come and gone through Creme because i figure people dont get along wit other people because they are in diff clans so i say why not give em a chance *shrugs*...anyhow ty clannies for supporting the clan as much as you do.
