Due to recent investigations, Astrona & Hikage should now be given full recognition for the Hydra area instead of the various corrupt and now fired staff ...JLH, in his higher beingness considers himself above posting such messages and therefore refered it to my evilness.... (plus I was bored as usual.....)

It hurts sometimes more than we can bear, if we could live without passion maybe we'd know some kind of peace, empty rooms, shuttered and dank, without passion we'd be truly dead.

Were the Swamps a player area that Ste and Alex helped make? I know thanks should also be given to Cyric, The area was very small, he added tons to it.

How would the area be made to suit a clan? Cyric added to the area, edited some of the monsters.. That's it.. Last time I checked it did not have a "You must be Draco Honoris to enter this area!" on it.. So ALL players and ALL clans have access to its good exp and decent gold.. Not just Draco!

I’m not trying to get in an argument here.. But find fault in what I said. Ste, you know what it is like to have people accuse you of making areas for personal gain and what bull that is. Anyone from any clan has access to the good exp and gold for the levels required in the swamp, not just Draco Honoris. You saying that Cyric edited the swamps for his clans gain is as much bull as when people said you made Chronos and Sentant for personal gain (ie. You knowing where all the keys are and getting the drop). But we know that you made them for the whole game, not just yourself.

stigmato is just a sad person who seems to like to flame cyric for un-needed reasons. personally, i feel i have probably benefited from the swamps more then anyone else in the game. i use to go there 10 hours a everyday up til about a month ago, lvl'd about 10 crits from lvl 10 to 26 there, and it was about a month before i even saw a draco honoris clan emmebr there. i am going to be open about this, i have made in the upwards of 1.5 million gold in the swamps. i have gotten well ofer 50 great axes, and probably 100 hydra thorns (deleted a lot of the first ones then used them as mosh weapons). i got the first tarma potion drop and have gotten many since, and i have probably gotten equally as many vamp pots as great axes. i must say, i lvoed the area before it was changed. the area now seems to have little worth to going there, and i have generally stopped.

Making 1.5 mill gold out of a low level area seems like its to much, would explain why DH has so many squares with so few members.

remember, i have been taining there since it re-opened for 10 hours a day, for about 80-100 days. think how much i would make if i was in rg. only reason ive made so much, is because i dont have a group of 10 arch tr members coming after my 4 crits.in the swamps, i can out kill anybody who has 4-8 crits, just on the basis i know the area, and they dont have a bunch of mods on.

| if your talking about the swamps before cyric changed them, then they were preety pathetic. a small little circle with mud monsters and vines. i would hardly call that an area. (if i remember correctly the swamps was 14 squares large)

| He said that was over many months of work. As for DH clan squares.. Hard work, members are very helpful giving loads of gold instead of spending it on themselves on hermes, sg's or cr's.. A single thief after a update can make 200k+ by stealing jahanna clean.. I bet less then half the gold donated comes from the swamps, members train in many other areas also.

Actually i was in DH when the swamp opened up and Cyric told me flat out as well as others in the clan that he would give us no help or even show us where anything was in the swamp he waited for over a month before he took us up there as a clan with his alts

I was never very interested in going there much myself; I'm curious though, after hearing about all of the changes, how many people go there now? Is it a worth-while place to go anymore?

Yeah, its a good place to go. With a torch you do dmg in the 100's and the xp/ppd isn't bad. Good training if you have an 18+ cleric or pally.

Kenny don't say Duh like you knew, and ya..swamps used to be a ton better...but i still like taking my thieves there...its is alright gold..kind of...and exp used to be plenty better..it gave opportunity for people to lvl low lvl thieves high enough to power train a lot fast too...and also helps lvling other classes at low lvls....but it used to help more..and used to be more fun to go to...but in the end i do think it is alright that it was made less fun, i still dont get pked by groups of archie rangers and stuff like that...it really gets annoying when you cant go anywhere without being pked...swamps are nice cause most people dont kill people there, and DH is friendly towards me...even though i never did manage to get into the clan...but they have always helped me and stuff..very different from what goes on around the rest of Nightmist....
