too much /refresh

Every time I log on a crit I have to type in /refresh just to see what is in my inventory. Also at other times when I log on i need to do this in order to see the stats, or just whatever isn't showing up. Just 10 minutes ago I log off my low lvl, log on my arch and there is nothing. Literally a full inventory of pots, all stats armor and weapon pics, and the exp bar Not There . I type refresh and sure enough there they are. Anyway I guess my question here is, Is this a problem due to a slow connection speed, graphics card, er what? This is to the point i could macro /refresh because I use it more than 3 times daily.

just wondering here. maybe it's the server that can't send all the packages to show you the data on the game fast enough? maybe it's not us but the server (btw i hardly ever have it so not too sure)

i do have a solution for this in ready for a future client update, all the info from the server does actually get to the client, but after the client recieves the first 1500 (typically, standard size ethernet) byte packet, it processes it instead of waiting to see if there is more information in the next packet that is the 2nd half of the message. windows tcp/ip for some reason does not always make this connection, so i have added my own buffering system to the next client to check manually.
