New skill for clerics

Now that this update has caused hungry and thirsty effects even stronger. Clerics should get a skill that allows you to create food or thier spring has a magical effect that gets rid of hunger, thirst, and poison effects. Yes they have the spell cleanse, but you are able to cast that on the go, the spring stays in one spot.

Yes ,there is the class druid that can nourish and rangers that can forge. But clerics are more common than druids and rangers can't forge everywhere, in most places but not everywhere. Also, most people will use zerkers or thiefs rather than rangers so they aren't as common unless you know where to train rangers to a high level really quickly so you have a need to use them in your party.

Please post what you think of this and please, don't be a ass and flame the crap out of this.

He said that you muppet.

Back on topic, I agree, they need a Spell to generate food for the masses to use like Create Spring, (Similar to the Loaves and Fishes story thing?) Unsure of what it would be called however.

Use a Druid. The Cleric doesn't have that spell for a reason.

Clerics don't need more spells.

It isn't a crap reason. Clerics are fine as they are, probably stronger than they ought to be....but since a couple of our best crits are clerics i'll just avoid saying too much about them being too strong.

They have plenty of spells, create spring is plenty enough.

I do think that the ability to make food out of monsters you kill would make sense though.  Either having it be random drop or have a class(es) gain the ability.

Maybe they don't want hunger to be easy to get over though...to make training trips require rest breaks more often or something.  I really doubt it'll make too much of an effect on training much anymore...in zeum you can pay pacis with mana or something to make you food..they've always done it for me in the past, but i guess most of them are my friends...ive got a paci up there that i just drop food from for myself usually now..even though i havent been in a long time.  I think a lot of the monsters in game would still be a big chunk of meat after they're killed though and i think that meat would be eatible.  I don't think all monsters should drop it, just monsters like snakes, bears, armadillos, and other meaty type monsters  (i also think armadillos should be added to nightmist).

Just my thoughts-
