I am posting about exp on certain monsters-
Orc Caves shouldn't be so low, it isn't THAT close to town, not as close as hedge maze and such places at least.  I think it should be around 50xpd at least, not half of what it was.  I trained there when i first started playing with lancaster, magnus (arch h-ling fighter), and chase's crits.  It wasn't that easy and we had help from an old player driving and helping pay for pots.

The Mt. west of gnolls/nightmist.  It should be around the same as desert, at least 80 on most of the monsters---maybe make a new monster to replace wolf that is slightly harder and better exp?  It is much harder than the desert really.  You also have it harder to access than desert.  I'd suggest that either the monsters be given Mt. in front of their name and raised exp (so as not to affect other monsters of same type), or that the area has an exp bonus for distance from town and difficulty.

Lower bear exp.  They're really close to town, easy to hit, and give exp around 60xpd.  That is higher than a lot of areas (hedge maze, rose garden, orc cave, and sarka) with much harder monsters.

Sarka ought to have decent exp, although now that i think about it, it would be abused by mage trainers, hitting til they kill a monster then using the inn, but really---the mages are hard enough to train anyway.

Lower gnoll archer exp.  70xpd for monsters that do hardly any damage doesn't make sense to me.  I think the area has been abused by people wanting to train their lower level rangers to 23 long enough now.

Zeum, Arrowheads should give more exp than they do because they're difficult.  They hit well and often, ought to give best exp out of zeum because they're the hardest to get to and hardest to train off.  No one uses them anymore that i know about.
Scarabs might give a little too much since they're on first floor and really not difficult, but they've got low hp, makes them kind of even out in training difficulty.

Well, i am not sure if i could've thought of a few more or not, but i've gotta go to soccer, peace.

-Gaddy

If i got any of these exp per damage things wrong it is probably cause it has been a while since i checked most areas.

I agree on the mt. side of things, but instead of exp, I'd like to see more gold dropped by some of them up there, if you have a failed trip to the Giant Chamelion - As in you die or something, you get basicly nothing back from your trip.

Bears, indeed, far too much exp. Why do Bears give more than Orcs, when Orcs have a much less accessable area?

I think the Gnoll archers are good as are, after all, they die so easily it's pathetic.. Maybe have them do as much damage as it says they do (before you enter, you know the grids where they 'shoot down at you')

When the museum first opened, I know the exp on Scarabs and Arrowheads was equal to that of Sand Spiders - I really hope this has changed, cus I think it's far too much for the ease of getting there..

Nice topic Everlast Smiley

EDIT: To save posting again - Haha, you're so right, I meant if you log in the wrong place, or get there and he isn't home Grin

Surely if you die, you'd lose the gold you got too?

But yeah I agree with all the things that have been said here Wink
