Using Macros on monsters/bosses.

Don't know if alot of people are like me, but when i use a macros at a boss or monsters., i don't normally type in the full name. IE: Demonic Soldiers/General i type in dem Sometimes this causes a problem and attacks a character instead of the monster. It would be nice when using macros on a square with monsters or a boss, that your macros hits the boss first until it is dead, then hits the character. thoughts, comments...

Yes you are right... I don't sit here most of my day waiting for boss spawns... I don't even come on more. If you read the forum you would have known by now that I don't play anymore... I just comment on idiotic threads like yours. And I stick to my comment... You are lazy

| If you don't play, you don't have a place to comment. For your information, i don't sit and 'wait for boss spawns.' i have a life that i tend to. and my post isn't idiotic, its a decent idea.... Quote:| I just comment on idiotic threads like yours. |

Its an alright idea but i really dont think its too necessary to be implemented. Not that big of an issue. And normally that kind of incident doesnt happen unless your macros something like a single letter lol. I wouldnt really suggest this idea.

Possibly an easier solution, say you set a macro to /a d It'd attack the top most thing begining with 'd', then work it's way down when it dies..

| True, it's not idiotic, but I don't see that it's needed. Just spend that extra second and type out the whole name. on 01/17/04 at 12:35:36, Issy wrote:| If your going to comment, comment. Don't flame something you have absolutely no say in. |
| He has a forum account, therefore he has a say in it. If for some reason JLH does decide its worth the time to put in, then Alones suggestion is the best.

hmm why make jlh do more work if you can jsut type out the full thing? i don't c the point really it just takes like 1 sec for typing it out. and at the moment /a d will attack the top player who's name starts with a d.

Why did this get turned back into an arugement? I like the idea of it hitting the top thing starting with that letter, and yes, when we got to bosses we have to be quick about it, it has nothing to do with "waiting" for bosses. The simple fact of it is that if we don't have macros up quick and get there then we cant go. It isn't that big of a problem, but would be a small thing that I would like.
