I was in a corn maze when I thought of this. lol.
Well the players would join it just like a mosh and sent to the beggining of a maze. Say it was 5000 gold for each player to join. And the first person to complete the maze would get the whole pot.
While you are trying to find your way through, you can still be pked. If you were to be pked you would be sent back to your local pub and obviously, out of the running.
I guess you could say that I was thinking "outside" the box this time. Just a thought.

The thing is, if they were to do it more than once they would probably have to change the maze or like after 2 times. But a slight adjustment would still confuse the person in the maze.
Spekkio: If they were sent to the back it would be mayhem, I like the back to pub thing better. I dont know though.

course you like the back to the pub thing better, its your idea lol anyway yea i like this idea and i rekon it could be fun  xept ppl on dial up connections would have a disadvantage because their ping would be higher so they would move slower.. also my connection even tho its 128k adsl, still gets 400+ping on a good day on one crit, but thats because i live in New Zealand.. which ironically is on the other side of the world to the server.. heh. anywa bottom line

I like the idea, but I think it would be better if you couldn't PK in the maze at all. Otherwise all you have is the top people pking everyone, and then just walking to the middle of the maze... also, if its no PK then everyone stands an equal chance.

First stage is a small PKing area, closed for 5minutes, then people are able to run through the maze, you must stay on the last grid for 30seconds before you win.
I personally think it'd work very well, so long as the maze changes every few weeks..
I support the idea, and am willing to help any staff member with it also, if they so wish...

if it was to be ran again you could randomize the areas fairly easily and i think the payment that goes in should be according to level like lvl 5-10 like 500 and 10-20 1000 etc then the ones who pk everyone put in a high risk if they dont win it and maybe to be a real @ss they could lower attack rates or stamina to make it fairer i think overall a good idea tho

I say that pked players should go back to the begining because, if all but one player is killed (which will happen that way) then that one player just casually walks through the maze. If you are sent back the the begining, you gotta run your tail off to catch up to the people ahead of you. Because the game is over when the first person gets to the end of the maze, that would be the best way to do it.
