Sharing Exp

I dont know if this has already been coverd or not. I was thinking about how when you are in a party, Why couldnt it make your xp be Split up between every member of the party. Of course there would have to be a limit to the levels it works with, Like they have to be within 5 levels higher or lower for the exp to split to them. If not then they dont get any unless they fight, so people cant just sit there and train there lower alts off bigger creatures. I was just wondering if that would be possible or if you have already discussed it.. Latah..

lol it is shared over the party. everybody gets the exp he hits for. best way to do it. hit for less = less exp. all crits hit for a bit all crits get a bit of exp.

This is kinda like a hybrid of the revelation system and the current one, and it makes sense.. If your party is fighting in a hard area, you still have experience in fighting things there and you would gain skill etc.. even if you weren't actually doing much damage. This would be alot better for clerics too, since they'd get experience for healing their party in hard areas etc which makes sense, and not just for dealing damage. There would need to be a level limit tho, like exp from every hit is given to each crit in the party who is within X levels of the attacker.

*Removed last post for not reading* I'm unsure of how this would actually work. Would say 1000 exp per hit be divided by 10 party members. So each party member would get 100 exp. Or would it be divided by every crit in the party getting 1000 exp. Thus aslong as everyone is the same level it would be like having say 50 stamina at level 29, and you'd level 10 times as quickly. If it's going to be split evenly between the party, as initial example stated. Then it would be exactly the same as getting your own exp damage, with the extra if your in a party with big hitters, and/or hitting undead with healers. Still think it's a bad idea, due to the leveling 10 times as fast. However, if an alt restriction was added, I would agree totally. As teamwork, would equal faster training.

I agree with that.. I like the idea, but i'm not sure if it would actually work on Nightmist.

If this were to be done, i think the person hitting the monster should get normal exp. The rest of the characters would get the normal EXP/3 and thats how much EXP the rest of the party would get.

depending how fast you want them to gain exp. The only one thats going to get full exp is the one hitting.

You seem to not be getting the point... You couldnt take 6 level 30's and expect it to share exp with a lvl 20. There would be a limit on the levels inbetween. Like say 2 levels bellow the one attacking. Like a lvl 30 and a lvl 28 could do it. But the one attacking would be the one getting the full XP.... I confused myself... BAHHHH!!!!

So 1 crit gets full xp for hitting? And also a bit of xp for every party member hitting. So if i train 15 lvl 20's and i do a round with all my crits they get full xp on their own hit, and 14 little bits. And training in groups is already better then training alone, so they are gonna lvl frikin fast...
