I have been thinking about this for a while not sure if it could be done.
 
Instead of killing someone outright add a bit of realism to the game. When a crit gets to say 10hp or below they are rendered unconses at witch time a command captire could be put in. this person could then be taken in to a clan dungeon and a ransom note could be sent to his or her clan. They could eith pay the ransom or try and capture someone from the clan that took him/her and make an even trade.

Oh this is cool. I could go around beating all the female crits in the head....dragging them to my dungeon forcing them to feed me grapes and massage my body til thier knight in shining armor steals enough gold for the ransom.
 Would the husbands of the women pay the ransom? How deep is a Tadpoles love...

Another suggestion to add on to this, is set the dungeon to jail settings.  they cant yell, page, clan chat, pick up items, drop items.  they can only talk.  The problem is, there will be loads of people in the dungeon, so the hungry/thirsty statistics should still perform, and when they do eventually die, they respawn as normal, and drop any items they were carrying into the dungeon.
 
when typing in the /capture <name> command, i suggest movements cause the stamina to go down as carrying a person all the way to the clan house will take some energy.
 
This will also reduce the amount of people captured, due to the slowness of actually capturing somebody.
the command to drop them would just be /release <name>.
 
Also, if an unconcious state is entered into the game, i suggest healers, or just maybe a cleric can buy a new spell called "Recall Conciousness", if that makes sense  lol.  this will just awake the player from being unconcious if dropped.  Smiley

If you steal her you wont be asking me for a ransom she got all the gold she could pay her way out lol. Dont make me whoop ya momba go steal oracle from JLH...he might give ya a BoS (jk jlh) lol

My Idea was pretty simple. Ok let me see if i can get into this a bit more.
 
When you go below 10hp you are rendered unconcious. At wich time you are able to be captured by another player and taken to a clan dungeon where you could be held, for ransom or equal trade of players.
 
But the second you go above ten hp you will wake up. Giving someone who is captured the abilty to free them selves before reaching the dungeon. IE if you knock me out and it is only because i am at 9 hp when i gain back that one p i can free myself with the comand a simple /disband since the capture comand was nothing more than a variation of the /invite alt comand.  
 
But there are a few things you need to think about in this, If i attempt to capture you i could still accidentally pk you to since if you are still at 25 hp and i hit you for 36 then you are still just as dead as normal.  
 
But once captured the ransom i think to get someone free should be an ammount set by the game itself because to many bone heads would send notes for like 12 millon gold and if the person is clan less or from a small clan then there is no way in god earth that someone could pay it, that or make it where they can only hold a crit for a certain amount of time either to avoid ransoms in the un affordable amounts.
 
Now RP point to this is the one who has captured someone is pked then their captive can now belong to the pker. meaning that if someone from the captives clan fought the capture and won before they reache dthe dungeon then again they are free to be healed as needed.  
 
As for the slowing down people i think a simple make it like trying to walk covert would be enough. If you capture someone then it takes stamina to move. about the same as a thief walking while covert would will settle that problem.
 
Ohhhhh wait suiside potions could be brought in but i think they should take the same amount of exp as if the person had pked you. and you should drop all the stuf you were carri#ying the same as if you had been pked. Because of the simple fact that you were pked just by yourself.

10 hp is too easy. make it so a person has to be completely rounded in a couple seconds... assassinate, rapid fire, smite shouldn't count of course.
 
there should probably be more factors, but i think it makes more sense that someone within an inch of losing thier life would bleed to death, than someone who just took a savage blow they weren't prepared for. i suppose it would work best if when a crit is knocked out, it can be bound, by spell or by rope, and then picked up like an item using a special command.
 
another detail, since lugging around a body is sort of hassle requiring one or two arms, maybe a person should have to unequip something in thier hands to take someone away.
