The /examine is usually used to uncover items. You can set /read descriptions with /readset [message] to achieve practically the same results.

Okay... then how about adding a new room function that works like that... have it cost a certain ammount of gold to get a /examineset <item name>, and a diffrent cost for it for each room... like 25 X the Cost of the item... the /examine would respaun every now and again... (/examineset would be chaged to only a chairman command, so that you coulden't have sombody change your hally examine --> short sword examine just for kicks...)
also, add a "/examinemessageyes <message>" command for what it says when you get the item, and a "/examinemessageno <message>" for when the item is not there.
ie's:
- Short Sword=2,000 gold to set
- Amulet of Hermes(AoH)=25mill.
- Cobalt Staff of the Winds(CSotW)=250mill
Boss-Drops would cost the avg. gold it is sold on the site for. (cost x 25=cost for the examineset...) (ie: shield of faith = about 50k.)
I picked x 25 because if you can aford 25 of them, you can get as many as you want as I see it... 
And, finally... the item would respaun only like once/hour, once/day, once/week depending on how 'powerfull' it is. (A Hally would be like once/3 days.)

it would be kinda cool if you could set an item you have to be found by someone examining in your clan house, but being able to set an item like a halberd or cobalt staff of the winds to continuously spawn is just rediculous...

No offense meant to tr by the following comment.
I can just see it *since they have massive ammounts of cash* They sell half the clan house, Set Csotw as examine in a room, and get one for every clannie that can equip one, then proceed to sell them for MASSIVE proceeds.
See... not good idea.... BAD IDEA...
Those items drop off a boss for a reason

if you wanna pay 1.25 million for a SOF I'll happily put one up there on the site for you . . .
I dislike this idea it seems pointless plus 25x normal price is insane . . .
If you wanna add an examine room to the clan house . . . maybe make a new room ie:
An Oasis or Green House . . . that perhaps spawns random things like food, drinks, mana or pots on an hourly or daily basis

omfg... I answered half the reasons in my last post (as to why this would not work) and if you can sell half your clan house for 250mill! go ahead, because d**n, thats one huge clan house!
Think about it though, if your clan house is that big, you'd have enough time to buy alot of them... and then, you'd have enough $$$ from useing them to buy more!
and, I SAID: "it's on a set time-line. (once ever hour-day-week-month if needed.)"
(To JLH): I can understand why this should not be added, but I just got mad when "these ppl" diden't read my whole post...
ps: boss drops - I never said that we HAD to have them...

Yes, I did use them as examples... but I diden't say that we had to use them is all that I'm say'in.
by the way:
- I was pissy because ppl started saying / asking things that I'd already answered.
